Our Spiritual Gold Mine

By Greg Laurie

For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

—Philippians 2:13

During the California Gold Rush of the mid-1800s, people came from around the nation, even the world, to find their fortune. I think people thought the gold was just lying around on the streets. But they had to go and mine it and work at it in hopes of discovering the mother lode.

When the apostle Paul wrote, “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12 NKJV), he was saying it’s like a mine. Go and discover all that God has done for you. Extract it. Live it out. Understand it. Appreciate it. Find out what it actually means for you.

This means working out our own salvation with self-distrust. We come with a reverence for God and a distrust of ourselves. We can’t do this in our own strength. Paul continues, “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (verse 13 NKJV).

Some people say, “God does it all. I do nothing.” Others say, “I do it all and God does nothing.” Both of those views are wrong. God does it through you as you mine it and discover it for yourself. Work out your own salvation with self-distrust, for it is God who is working in you.

The phrase “fear and trembling” doesn’t mean that Paul is suggesting we can lose our salvation. You can make a recommitment to Christ if you need to, but once you have eternal life, it is a gift to you from God. You are born again once.

The devil loves to challenge what God has said. We must stand on the promises of God and not our emotions, because our emotions can mislead us.

Don’t work for your salvation; work out your salvation. What an incredible gift it is.

I Am Bringing You Off The Potter’s Wheel

By Russ Walden

The Father says today, I am bringing you off the potter's wheel. I have formed you, and I have fashioned you. I have kneaded you like a potter kneads the clay to bring forth a vessel for My purpose. I have chosen you as an instrument of honor, and I have elected you to receive of the height, the depth and the breadth of My love

Plan "A" is still on the table, beloved. The enemy has lied, and the enemy has sought to deceive, but no longer. Men have said you are damaged goods and that you cannot have what I have promised, but they do not speak by the inspiration of My Spirit. Always remember that I am the God of the second chance and the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and so on. Man's intolerance will not limit me; therefore, you will not be limited in terms of receiving My mercy. Forgive them. Forgive yourself. Dust yourself off and move on with joyous expectation, for on the morrow as every day of your sojourn My mercies will be ever new.

 "Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

         ...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

Words of prophecy:

*       The "spiritual storms" now being experienced throughout My remnant Church [both individually and corporately] are a "prelude"to the glorious days of breakthrough and Divine restoration that are, even now, beginning to overtake all those who have set themselves to obey the still, small voice of My Spirit.

"prelude" - a preliminary to an action, event, condition, or work of broader scope and higher importance;

        ...."So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock. And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock [of revealed knowledge]. And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a stupid [foolish] man who built his house upon the sand. And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell - and great and complete was the fall of it".... Matthew 7:24-27 The Amplified Translation

        In these days, there will be some wonderful Kingdom-revelation [revelations of absolute Truth]coming forth [to a continually greater degree] concerning "divine [supernatural]restoration" on every level - including the physical body [where healing and "abiding" in divine health are concerned] and the restoration of the "wealth of the sinner" to the righteous [those who have come to abide in the place of right-standing with God - both feet firmly planted in the Kingdom].

Always remember:

        Divine restoration and the end-time wealth transfer BELONG to those who are found walking in Covenant with [obeying]God, in Christ [Deuteronomy 28:1-14].

"Restore"- to reestablish order; to bring back to a state of health, soundness and well being; to give back; make return or restitution of anything taken away, stolen or lost;

        ...."And I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go [unless forced to do so], no, not by a mighty hand. So I will stretch out My hand and smite Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in it; and after that he will let you go. And I will give this people favor and respect in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you shall not go empty-handed. But every woman shall [insistently] solicit of her neighbor and of her that may be residing at her house jewels and articles of silver and gold, and garments, which you shall put on your sons and daughters; and you shall strip the Egyptians [of belongings due to you]".... Exodus 3:19-22 The Amplified Translation

        ...."The Israelites did according to the word of Moses; and they [urgently] asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver and of gold, and clothing. The Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave them what they asked. And they stripped the Egyptians [of those things]".... Exodus 12:35-36 The Amplified Translation

        ...."He brought [Israel] forth also with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person [pauper] among their tribes. Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen upon the people".... Psalms 105:37-38 The Amplified Translation

"Feeble"- translated from the Hebrew word for "pauper";

"Pauper" - an extremely poor person; a person without any means of support; a destitute person who depends on aid from public welfare, funds or charity;

Prayer of Proclamation:

        Heavenly Father, we thank You and praise You for the wonderful "Kingdom-revelations" that are coming forth from Your Throne Room in these days - Kingdom-revelations that will SURELY lift us up into the "fullness" of our precious Kingdom-position and destiny, in Christ. And we declare it DONE  [on an ongoing basis] in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
