FIRE BY NIGHT

             "Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

        ...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, nor the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

                THE BLESSING [EMPOWERMENT] OF THE TITHER

Words of prophecy:

*       How do My children "worship" Me with their "tithes" and "offerings"? With their "entire" lives - perfect obedience in every aspect of their lives and ministries - moment to moment, day in and day out!

"perfect obedience"- receiving a revelation of the Father's Will, and then carrying out that Will in the timing [unction] and power of the Holy Spirit - alone [through the continual exercising of an absolute faith working through a perfect love];

        ...."Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. THEN I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast [its grapes,]" says the LORD of hosts. All the nations will call you blessed, for you shall be a delightful land," says the LORD of hosts".... Malachi 3:10-12 NASB

        The standard of measure the Father is speaking of here is both weighed and defined by the "entire life" of the one tithing and giving [sowing]. To the one "abiding" [dwelling] in perfect obedience - maximum return and maximum fruit.

        One of the key points in this scripture [the essence of which could be called "the blessing {empowerment} of the tither"] is "THEN [meaning after one has faithfully tithed] I [God, Himself] will rebuke the devourer for you". This differs from our call to exercise the authority we have been given in Christ - an authority we are called to exercise ANY time we encounter Satanic resistance or attack.

        When God rebukes the devourer on our behalf He sets His divine protection over the "fruit" of our lives [our sustenance] - and that includes every Covenant blessing.

"sustenance" - our means of sustaining life; our livelihood;

        ...."Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they (men) will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return".... Luke 6:38  NASB

Prayer of Proclamation:

        Father, in light of these things, I am proclaiming that the devourer is rebuked by You in the lives of all those who have faithfully honored You with their tithes - and, also, that the fruit of their giving [sowing] is under Your divine protection. I am fully expecting You to confirm these things in a very big way in the midst of Your people - and I declare all of these things DONE [activated - on an ongoing basis] in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.

        ...."And He [Jesus] said to them, 'Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. In a similar way these are the ones on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy; and they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word, but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches,and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold'".... Mark 4:13-20 NASB
