"Stay in Faith - Dawn is on the Way!"
By Helen Calder
Your Father is faithful. He is a keeper of promises, and He is watching over His Word in your life to fulfill it (see Deut. 7:9, Josh. 21:45, Jer. 1:12).
I believe God is speaking to many of you who are waiting for a specific prophetic
word – a personal promise from Him – to be fulfilled.
The answer has not come as quickly as you initially expected, instead, there has been what seems to be a prolonged time of preparation. Perhaps you are finding it difficult
to see what lies ahead. It may even seem, at times, as though the opposite of your prophetic word is taking place. You can be assured that behind the scenes, your Father is at work.
Night Before Dawn: Your Faith is Under Trial
Sometimes, God leads us by a way that is not of our choosing. It is a journey in which we experience a cost for our obedience. Our faith comes under trial. If you can relate to that today, be encouraged by this story from 2 Kings chapter 3.
The kings of Israel, Judah and Edom are taking their armed forces out against Moab. After seven days of marching in the wilderness, there is no water for them or their animals. Jehoshaphat, King of Judah asks, "Is there a prophet?"
Into this dire situation, the prophet Elisha brings a prophecy: "Thus says the Lord: 'Make this valley full of ditches.' For thus says the Lord: 'You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water...'" (2 Kings 3:16-17
There is disparity between some Bible translations, because they were positioned in a valley, and a dry riverbed could have received the water. Yet the Hebrew word translated "ditches" means, "something dug". In this period of time,
between the problem experienced and the promise revealed, God calls on them to dig by faith – to exert effort – and then wait a whole night through. Think about this for a moment: These people have had a seven-day march. They have no water. They
are faced with a physically demanding battle ahead.
Between the promise declared and the promise fulfilled, there is a trial of faith...there is a gap. It's a tired, thirsty, dark night of a gap. Perhaps you relate to this today. You are
waiting on God for a promised provision, change or breakthrough. In the interim, you are digging. You are persevering under trial; but dawn is on the way.
You Are Participating with God in the Fulfillment of His Promise
There are times when God simply requires us to receive, or to wait. But most of the time, He will call on us to participate with Him in the fulfillment of His promises.
Esther fasted, risked her life and prepared two banquets
before she overcame the enemy Haman. Nehemiah needed to lead, labor and endure threats before Jerusalem's walls were rebuilt. Many times, God gives instructions that must be followed and then, following a time of perseverance, the breakthrough takes place.
Simply waiting and receiving is one manifestation of God's grace – His undeserved favor.
It is equally a manifestation of His grace when He gives us the honor of participating with Him – of being with Him and co-laboring with
Him. It is such grace that we have the privilege of being empowered to rise up and possess His promise! That we would get to know the fellowship and anointing of the Holy Spirit! It is grace that He trusts us with His promises. And this is also grace: He values
your faith so highly that He allows circumstances to bring forth gold.
Yes, there is weariness and there is labor. Yes, there is a dark night, in which the answer cannot be perceived,
except by faith. But the dawn is on its way. And with it, the heavenly answer. When daylight comes, so does the water, at the time of the morning sacrifice. In the Scripture, during that final moment of offering, a flash flood swept through the valley. It
filled the dry riverbed and the ditches prepared for the water.
Today, be encouraged. Receive a fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit. Your endurance heralds the dawn and the beginning of great miracles. The enemy is being overcome, and
God will get the glory.

*** SCRIPTURES FOR HEALING ***
|Hos 4:6 |
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Christ has redeemed
us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us...
...(Jesus) bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins,
might live for righteousness -- by whose stripes you were healed.
...He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.
He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Do not be wise in your own eyes: fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.
...I am the Lord who heals you.
Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases...
the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water.
And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
...your light shall break forth like
the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily,
and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds
up their wounds.
A merry heart does good, like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
...these signs will follow those who believe: In
My name they will cast out demons;
they will speak with new tongues; ...they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
...the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
And if he has committed sins,
he will be forgiven.
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
...Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.

"Is anything too hard for the Lord?"
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you."

own Son, but delivered Him up for us all,
how shall he not with Him also freely give us all things?"
"Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass."
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down,
shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom."

*** PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN
|Acts 19:20 |
I thank you Father that Your Word prevails over our children.
That they are taught of the Lord and continue to be
the fruit of godly instruction and correction.
Great is their
peace and undisturbed composure.
Father, give us counsel and wisdom in bringing up our children.
I say they are obedient, not conforming to the things of the flesh,
but holy, in all conduct.
desiring the pure milk of the Word
that they may grow thereby.
That they are swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath.
Their conduct is without covetousness,
and they are content with what they have.
They do not forget to do what is right and to share.
pray that they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord,
and abound more and more in how they should walk and please You.
That they submit to their elders, and to one another,
being clothed with humility.
That they cast their cares upon
You, Father, for You care for them.
I thank You that they are doers of the Word, and not hearers only,
effectively sharing their faith.
not having a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Father, You have saved them
and called them with a holy calling,
not according to works, but according to Your own purpose.
Deliver them from every evil work and preserve them.
They will by no means follow strangers, not knowing their voices.
with others who call on the Lord out of a pure heart,
and cursing comes not out of their mouth.
Because Jesus keeps them safe, the wicked one does not touch them.
Give Your angels special charge to accompany, defend, preserve
provide safety for them, day and night.
Because they keep Your Word, Your love is being perfected in them.
They do not love the world or the things in the world,
and they do not imitate what is evil, but what is good.
in the light as You are in the Light,
cleansing their hands and purifying their hearts,
They follow after righteousness, faith, love, and peace.
They have a good conscience and desire to live honorably,
having favor and high esteem
with God and man.
