The Honey of the Word!
By Robin Kirby Gatto
Last night’s message was Ephesians 3:20.
God brought such strength and refreshing, releasing the Joy of the LORD!
After the meeting we came home and watched A Little Princess. We
have the VHS that I bought in the late 1990s when the boys were young.
So from time to time, we have watched it, being one of our favorite movies!
Last night we pulled it up on Netflix, and the entire movie was seen
through the revealing of God’s love and message He delivered last night, about the thorns in our life being an opportunity for us to gather the honey of God’s Word!
God had me bring in about cheap sheets that we had bought
for years in the past, to go on our bed. And He provided a means by which we could get nicer sheets a couple of weeks ago that more were than $20.
I had always settled for the cheap sheets, because I wanted to use wisdom at times,
but had to remember that My God can get me something more than $20 sheets for our Queen size bed.
The sheets I got nearly 3 weeks ago, had embroidered honey bees on them!
Moreover, 2 weeks after I got the sheets, I
received a text message from Charis Singleton, (last Friday night June 22nd). As we text she said that a certain icon would pop up every time, she sent texts to me.
I could not see the icon with my track-phone so I asked her
what it was that would pop up, and she said it was a BEE!
She said it had never done that before! Every time, she sent me a text a bee would pop up and go with it. I then explained about our new bee sheets!
I heard God say that He is causing us to make honey in the midst of our trial! Every offense in your present, is a place for us to see the honey of God’s Word!
That is what the enemy does in our lives, with his thorns,
which are the offenses that come our way through others. He always tries to make us feel like we cannot sleep as a QUEEN, in royalty!
Last night as I watched A Little Princess again, at the end of the movie, when the enemy tried
to make her feel poor and not even have sheets, suddenly, her bed was bedecked with the most spectacular sheets, and dressings!
Each offense, each thorn from the enemy, is your opportunity to reach deep for the love of Christ Jesus, and
be a honey bee drenched in His love to pour out on others!
Those who offend you are merely a flower waiting to know that there is nectar available to be transformed into honey!
A saint crying out to God for fullness of deliverance and the manifestation of salvation.
