Blessed Are the Pure in Heart
by Curtis Crews
5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God”
I frustrate the grace of God when I don’t see God in my life. I blame the devil, I blame man, I blame the government and I blame my circumstance and my
spiritual progress comes to a standstill! When I am left in a circumstance, that’s God. There is an eternal purpose that must be wrought in me. My heart reaction when I am tested proves where I am really at in my walk with the Lord.
Psalm 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me”
Could the Lord lead you through the valley of
the shadow of death? Would you be fearful there or would you be so one with the Him that you could actually minister in such a place? Our usefulness in the things of God is measured by our reaction to the things that God could prevent but chooses to allow
us to experience. If in the middle of these, we learn to walk in unbroken communion with Him then it is no longer us that lives but Christ that lives in us and He knows that He can place us in any circumstance and we will be at peace and our heart and soul
will be available to be used by the Lord to minister in any situation. When I see what God is after and His work has been fully accomplished in me then I will no longer see myself, but I will see God in all things. This is a pure heart that has already entered
in to His Kingdom right here, right now.
Philippians 4:11 “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content”
Seeing God in all things means we have lost sight of ourselves. When we begin our spiritual journey, we see good and evil through natural eyes. We must go through the greatest of all transformations which is to have our mind
renewed. Eternity’s ways and thoughts must become ours during this lifetime. To be delivered from something is wonderful, to be transformed in the middle of it is to enter the Kingdom.
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of
God is … righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost”
