FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the
way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
FREE FROM THE "LOVE OF THE WORLD" AND THE FEAR OF MAN
Words of prophecy:
* It is the "Pharisees" [those controlled by "religious spirits"] that
love the "world" and its esteem [the approval and praises of men] above My Will [Word].
...."Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the
dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may become clean also. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed
tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness".... Matthew 23:25-28 NASB
...."For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ".... Galatians 1:10 NASB
Do not "love the world" [through a "heart-fellowship" with it] but, rather, seek first the Kingdom - and to be righteously motivated in ALL things.
not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings
of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one's own resources or in the stability of earthly things]--these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself]. And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings [the
passionate desires, the lust] of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides [remains] forever".... 1 John 2:15-17 The Amplified Translation
[aim at and strive after] first of all His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right]".... Matthew 6:33 The Amplified Translation
Prayer of Proclamation:
we thank You and praise You that You have raised us up a people who are free from the "love of the world" and the trappings there. We proclaim that we are a "Kingdom-people" - those who truly seek first the establishment of Your Kingdom in the earth. And we
declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis] in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
