The Master’s Needs

By Dana Jarvis

Jesus told his disciples to go and loose a colt and bring him, (Luke 19:30ff).

He told them to expect opposition, for as we all know, the devil never surrenders without a fight.

He also gave them a reason in the instance they were asked why.  It was simply that the Master needed him.

The point is:  When the master commands you to be loosed, nothing can hold you, no devil is big enough to keep you bound.

We have all heard some of these quotes said so many times.

“God doesn’t need me, but I sure need him.”

“God can make it without me, but I sure can’t make it without him.”

“I am nothing or God is all powerful, but I’m weak and helpless, and powerless.”

Sure it may sound spiritual and humble, but it is like placing God on a throne surrounded by angels and us way down here on earth barely getting by, with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel, just hoping to getting a touch every now and then just to make it over the next mountain.

My Bible tells me that my body is the temple of The Holy Ghost.

My Bible tells me that God dwells in me.

He doesn’t just call me up, or text me or e-mail me, (he doesn’t just drop by to visit every now and then, but he is a permanent resident).

He walks through my feet.  He touches through my hands.  He speaks through my lips.

When I show up, God shows up.  When I get there, God is there.  For, behold, the Kingdom of God is within us.

One of satan’s greatest weapons against the believer is to make them feel unnecessary, invaluable, and inadequate.

Jesus said you are the light of the world and the salt of this earth.  The power he walked and operated in resides in you.

You did not receive a baby Holy Ghost with little power, but rest assured you received a full grown Holy Ghost with all power.

Just as Peter and John said to the lame man, “Look on us” for they knew who was within them.

They said: We don’t have any silver or gold, but we have something that can heal you, deliver you and change your life, and we have been authorized and empowered to give it to you.

And what we have we give to you (In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth) rise up and walk.

You have that same Authority, you have that same anointing in you and on you, you have that same power.

Let me tell each of you something right now.  God and you are awesome.

God and you are unstoppable.  God and you are a threat to hell.  God and you can do the impossible.

You are coming out of the darkness where you felt you were not good enough and realizing you are valuable and vital to the King.

Every pit, every yoke, every bondage, every addiction is broken right now.  You are needed!

The Master Needs You as you have a purpose and destiny for His Kingdom!

You Are Our Strength and Song

By Dana Jarvis

LORD Jehovah, Adonai Tsabaoth, LORD of Hosts, You are our Strength and Song.

You are our Victory as you toss our enemy into the sea, the rider, horse, and chariot all shall be swallowed up.

You are Sar Shalom, our Conquering Prince!

We bless you Tzur Yisrael, Rock of Israel, you train our hands for war and our fingers for battle.

You are our Fortress and High Tower, the One in whom we seek total refuge.

We sing our hearts songs to you upon a warriors harp.  For it is you who delivers us.

Your right hand holds us up!  By your mighty power we pursue and overtake every enemy.

We beat the devil as fine dust in the wind.  Anoint us as your battle ax and weapon of war.

Sharpen our blade and strengthen our shaft as a vanquishing battle ax.  Quicken every part of our being!

Amplify our prayer and praise just like Joshua as they stood before the wall at Jericho.

Touch our sight like the servant of Elisha to see into the spirit realm as the atmosphere around us is filled with angels and fiery chariots.

Ignite each heart with the zeal and passion of Gideon.  Fill our body, soul, and spirit with the courageous spirit of Caleb.

Empower our decrees with such power and accuracy likened to David’s sling. Impart to us the determination of Benaiah to overcome the demonic lions in their lairs.

We stand your unified army, equipped, empowered, as you unleash us upon the ranks of darkness.

I declare by our LORD of Hosts that we shall take their heads and no more shall they hinder or hold us back.

We are repossessing our possessions!

We run to the battle with your name upon our lips knowing the battle is yours and victory is ours in Jesus mighty name Amen!

God is obviously not finished with us, so we must draw close to the Lord and ask. Give Him all your burdens beloved. Give Him your loneliness & draw close.
