If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

Oh death where is thy sting . . .

There Stands ONE in the Gap!

by Deborah Waldron Fry

When my dad was recovering from open-heart surgery, he had an experience.

He woke up in great fear one night and saw an evil being in his hospital room.  Then suddenly, a tall Man in a dazzling white robe and a gold sash stood beside him, and lifted His Hand to the demonic being (I believe it was the spirit of death).

He held up His Hand in a STOP position with the palm of His Hand up.

It stopped dead in its tracks and disappeared.  My dad had never had a vision before this one.  He died peacefully a few years later, safe in His Savior’s Arms.

“Beloved.  Fear not.  When the enemy is coming at you, there stands One in the gap.

There stands One at your defense.  Your Savior has become your Fierce Protector.

I show him My nail scarred Hand and he is powerless to continue his assaults against you.  With just one gesture, he is reduced to nothing.

For I created him and I have destroyed his works at the Cross.  By My Breath the heavens are cleared; My Hand has pierced the fleeing serpent.

I have opened My Hand to you, Dear One, in eternal Love and Grace.

I shall satisfy every desire.  If the enemy had known, he would not have crucified The LORD of Glory.

My Radiance is your Shelter, it shines like the Sun, there are RAYS flashing from My Hand, and therein the hiding of My Power.

So do not fear, for I AM with you; do not be afraid, for I AM your God.

I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.

Behold, all who rage against you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who contend with you will be reduced to nothing and will perish.”

“His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, and therein is the hiding of His power,”   Habakkuk 3:4.

“You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing,”   Psalm 145:16.

“You have a strong arm; Your hand is mighty, Your right hand is exalted,”   Psalm 89:13.

“By His breath the skies were cleared; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.  Indeed, these are but the fringes of His ways; how faint is the whisper we hear of Him! Who then can understand the thunder of His power?”   Job 26:13-14.

“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ…

... Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound.  But where sin abounded, GRACE abounded MUCH MORE so that as sin reigned in death, even so GRACE might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord,”   Romans 5:17,20-21.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish,”    Isaiah 41:10-11.

God is obviously not finished with us, so we must draw close to the Lord and ask. Give Him all your burdens beloved. Give Him your loneliness & draw close.
