The Lord is My Shepherd

By Miss Shelly

Psalm 23 (KJV)

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

King James Version (KJV)

The Intercessor was immediately brought to a desert place.  Perhaps it was in an area like Arizona, Nevada or Colorado I suppose.  Large red boulders, some as big as skyscrapers, were thrust out of the earth to form huge ravines expressing the wonderful colors of the desert. The climate was extremely dry and very hot, with out any water to be seen.  It would be hard to believe that any animal might exist here.

As the Intercessor was looking around she noticed a glistening in the sun way above her.  While she looked closer, shading her eyes with her hand, she realized it was a large raindrop.  But, it wasn’t normal sized; it was huge, about the size of her fist!  As she watched that drop fall toward her in the sky, she noticed the drop was full of activity.  Yes, she saw people inside the drop like a television screen, running to and fro from an army, advancing and shooting at them. Things were exploding and there was great violence & darkness.  The men and women were holding tight to their little ones who could not run as fast as they could from those pursuing them.  Chaos was everywhere!  She heard nothing, but knew they were screaming and literally terrified!  Intensely, she took in a deep breath; let it out slowly as she wondered, “What was that all about!”

The drop was not rain in fact, she discovered however, it was from the eye of God. Somehow, she knew this. It was a large teardrop!  Oh how He longs for his children of the earth to believe in His Son and dwell in the secret place away from all the wickedness of the world.  “I love My wayward children so much!”  She heard in her thoughts.  He wants to protect them, but there are some mysteries of the Kingdom having to do with the Laws of the Universe that prevent Him from moving further forward.

So, the teardrop landed on a large boulder close by and she watched it virtually burst open when it landed.   The scorching heat radiating from the red rock quickly seized the liquid, and then immediately dried it up completely.  As she watched the drop dissipate, her eyes noticed some kind of movement toward her left. She turned so that she could fully see the sight unfolding before her eyes! Startled, her mouth dropped open and she gasped. It was amazing!

There they were the most magnificent, herd of horses thundering at full force as if being chased by some unforeseen adversary!  Their leader was the most beautiful white steed with His mane flowing, tail flagged, and powerful sculptured limbs running. He was “perfect” in every way! Every horse following was different in many colors & sizes, but they all moved with precision together closely, pursuing their leader.  The horses progressed quickly right or left around the boulders in their path, which refused to move, as if standing in defiance in the way.  All of the horses were sleek, and bold synchronized in their moves, nostrils distended, snorting as they ran hard, so they could drink in the Wind.  The boulders did not deter them in any way!

But they were not being chased, however; they were being “led” into a hidden canyon for safety. The majestic Leader slowed down to a prance as they approached the entrance to their destination.  The entrance was concealed, however, so the Intercessor ran out to see where they were heading.  She watched as they all passed from a very parched, dry desert moving into a plush, green pastureland, concealing a beautiful valley.  This captivating valley drew her in, inviting her to come and be refreshed too.  So she curiously approached it.

As she drew closer, she heard the sound of an alluring river flowing with water.  The atmosphere and smell was no longer hot, dry and parched desert, but drastically changed to a sweet smelling aroma reflecting the cool temperature with the refreshing water rolling from a spring.  The coolness of the spring happened to create a soft gentle breeze. Where the River began and ended she did not know, but oh how she wanted to be there as she was hot, parched and so thirsty herself.  She stepped across the threshold.  Her hair brushed with the breeze as it approached her and cooled off her sweat as she kept following the horses.

The only thing they were interested in, however, was pursuing the green grass and water in this wonderful valley full of LIFE.  She heard the sound of birds chirping happily, welcoming these new friends coming to the rivers edge to drink their fill of the clean pristine sweet waters from the River.  All became so peaceful.  Vision Ended.

Dwell in that Secret Place Beloved Child of God

Psalm 91 King James Version (KJV)

91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
