FIRE BY NIGHT

...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night,
to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
THE CHIEF CHARACTERISTIC OF PRIDE IS THAT IT IS ALWAYS IN PERFECT ENMITY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
Words of prophecy:
* The willful maintaining of pride, fear and unbelief block the flow of revelation to the heart.
...."Blessed are the pure in heart, for they
shall see [both know and understand] God".... Matthew 5:8 NASB
...."The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding [discernment and comprehension]"....
Psalms 119:130 The Amplified Translation
The chief characteristic of pride is that it is ALWAYS in perfect enmity with the Holy Spirit and, so, it is always found fighting for its OWN ways and
means. That is precisely why only those who give their hearts "wholly" to God [through faith and corresponding actions] even present themselves before the Father for the work of the Cross to be done in their lives.
At times, one may pray for the Father to change their heart but when He starts to shine His Light fully on that ground of "self" they jump up and run from the "operating table". But, in the time where one truly humbles themselves before Him - acknowledging
that they need both the Word of God and the precious Blood of Jesus to clean their heart and purify them until there is nothing left but Christ - then, it is certain that His perfect work will be done in that life.
...."The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverted mouth, I hate".... Proverbs 8:13 NASB
...."Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God,
to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, [which is] your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that
which is good and acceptable and perfect".... Romans 12:1-2 NASB
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank You and praise You that in Christ we are free from the bondage of
pride - in all of its forms. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis] in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
...."Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor
boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its
own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when
right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails [never fades
out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]".... 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a The Amplified Translation
