FIRE BY NIGHT

By Glenn H. Jackson

"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

                                                   PERFECT PATIENCE

Words of prophecy:

*       Faith and patience - and the continual nurturing [cultivating] of the revelation one already has will, without exception, allow the Father's highest purpose to unfold in their life [both individually and corporately].

...."For this reason also, since the day we heard [of it,] we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please [Him] in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son".... Colossians 1:9-13 NASB

The key to the exercising of patience is that it "allows" the Father to fulfill His highest purpose in one's life [both individually and corporately]. I used to - like many other Christians - not be all that fond of patience. But when the Father gave me a revelation of HIS purpose in patience [and the necessary exercising of faith that goes along with it] I immediately began to see the importance of it where His Heart was concerned. In light of these things, it is very important for each and every child of God to seek to see ALL things through the Father's Eyes - in order that His highest Will and purpose might continually be found unfolding, perfectly, on ALL fronts.

...."And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises".... Hebrews 6:11-12 NASB

Prayer of Proclamation:

Father, we thank You and praise You for the revelation of the importance of perfect patience on our part - a perfect patience that will SURELY usher forth the fullness of Your highest Will and purpose in our midst in this most critical and glorious hour. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis] in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
