FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them
in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
ONLY THE BLIND CAN BE "BLIND-SIDED"
Words of prophecy:
* Only the blind can be "blind-sided" [taken completely unawares].
...."the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God".... 2 Corinthians 4:4 NASB
...."Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness".... Luke 11:35 KJV
Faith is in no way "blind". For the "eyes of faith" ALWAYS "see"
[spiritually] through the other side of the "storm" - in much the same way that "radar" empowers a pilot to navigate accurately through to their destination, even in the midst of the most adverse conditions.
- a method of detecting distant objects and determining their position, speed, material composition, or other characteristics by causing radio waves to be reflected from them and analyzing the reflected waves.
...."let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith".... Hebrews 12:1-2 NASB
and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting".... 2 Corinthians 4:18 The Amplified Translation
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank You and praise You that, as we fellowship daily with You in the "inner chamber",
our hearts are "flooded" with Your divine Light - a divine Light that illuminates our path at every turn. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis], in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
...."The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day".... Proverbs 4:18 NASB
