His Response to Our Trust and Faith in Him

By Kathy Mote

Religion has given us terms like submission and surrender, when the reality in His presence is accepting His love for us. His response to our trust and faith in Him is that we are protected and well taken care of.

We accept and walk with Him in the way of eternal Life, and the reality of that blows away the concept of dying to self. The difference is that religion is something we do on our own and Eternal Life, deliverance, protection and provision are things He provides for us. The difference between religion and relationship is the presence of the God who fulfills His promises.

The Lord said that in our delight to be in His arms, we will soon laugh at the terms of religion and abandon our natural thinking. In visions that overwhelmed my heart, I see a woman laughing with delight in the arms of the Lord as she is swept up in a beautiful, high spirited waltz with Him. He is celebrating, and clearly delighted with her.

In my experience with the Lord, I have found Him to be loving, gentle, sweet, kind, and powerful to deliver. He corrects me without giving room to any argument. He has also bounced all the fear from my heart and changed my perspective. I now know what powers my life here. He provides generously in His presence. But, He will not negotiate the terms of eternal Life with anyone, especially not one who is dear to Him. This is how He protects them.
