FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave
them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
THE EXERCISING OF FAITH IS NOT BASED ON WHAT ONE "FEELS"
Words of prophecy:
* To continually call [proclaim] the things that are "seen" [discerned through the five physical senses] as they "presently" are in one's life is to perpetuate the
Enemy's schemes in their life and circumstances. Indeed, things will not only remain the same - they will eventually worsen.
To continually call forth things
that are not presently "seen" in the physical realm [through words spoken that are in a perfect alignment with a revelation of My Will and Heart] will SURELY bring about positive [and Eternal] change in that one's life - as those words spoken in faith will
draw forth that which has already been established in Heaven into "manifestation" in the physical realm.
"Perpetuate" - to cause to continue or prevail;
...."As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already]
existed".... Romans 4:17 The Amplified Translation
...."We consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things
that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting".... 2 Corinthians 4:18 The Amplified Translation
...."But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak".... 2 Corinthians 4:13 NASB
...."And Jesus answered saying to them, "Have faith in God". [lit. have the faith of God] "Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain [obstacle], 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is
going to happen, it will be [granted] him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe [based on the finished work of the Cross, the Word of God and the Blood Covenant] that you have [already] received them, and they will be [granted]
you".... Mark 11:23-24 NASB
The exercising of faith is not based on what one "feels". It is based upon what one "believes" in their heart - and, thus, speaks
[proclaims] with their mouth.
...."As he [a man/woman] thinketh in his/her heart, so is he/she".... Proverbs 23:7 NASB
...."But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: "DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, 'WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?' (that is, to bring Christ down), or 'WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?' (that is, to
bring Christ up from the dead)." But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART" - that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised
Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses [words spoken in agreement with their Covenant], resulting in salvation [deliverance]. For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER
BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED".... Romans 10:6-11 NASB
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank
You and praise You that You have raised us up a people who are no longer moved [influenced] by what we "feel" in any given moment - a people whose "final authority" is always based on the revelation of Your Word abiding in our heart. And we declare it DONE
[on an ongoing basis], in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
