How Deeply You Accept The
By Kathy Mote
How deeply you accept the Lord's will depends on how willing you are
you let go of your own. This is not an easy thing to do, especially if you do not see the purpose in what He is doing.
So many are currently embroiled in heartache and pain, learning to live with the fallout
of insult and betrayal. We need to remember that we do not owe others our heart. That is given to Him. We do not answer to others for our lives, we answer to Him because we belong to Him. By the same Truth, they do not owe us theirs. Thinking that they do
is why we are disappointed and hurt.
The Lord would have me say this to you, you who are cast down, thrown out and betrayed, hurt beyond the ability to recount. Do not recoil from the Lord's will. You
haven't seen the end of it yet. Yes, these things are shaping your life but as you trust the Lord's will, He will shape your future as He heals your heart.
Not only are you the favored one, the Lord is
calling you to know great honor in His Kingdom. You are the one being called out from among them. You are the one who will be miraculously taken care of. You are the one He has called into His presence, and it is there you will be shown your place of prominence
in His heart.
I hear the Lord say, They are but fodder for your life. To bless you I have ransomed their life. Let them have what they have in this life. It is you that I have called to be My wife.
Once, Not So Long Ago
By Kathy Mote
Once, not so long ago, the Lord told me something about
trying times that changed my heart. As I cried out to Him on behalf of my child, He said, The wilderness isn't meant to be fun. It is meant to be miraculous and reshape your heart. Everyone deserves to walk through the wilderness just once, coming out leaning
on their Beloved. Everyone deserves to keep the deep and heartfelt relationship with Me they learn to have there. Everyone deserves their time on the backside of the mountain, lest they lose their way as they are among other people.
We Need To Come Up With A Better Word For Surrender
By Kathy Mote
We need to come up with a better word for
surrender. One more accurate to what is going on in our heart, and His. One that doesn't make us feel demeaned. One that doesn't depict being overcome, but relieved. One that conveys the actual honor He gives to those who honor Him. Calling Him LORD is accepting
deliverance and healing. What we surrender is our weakness without Him. What we give up is the lie that we don't need Him. That doesn't sound demeaning at all, for in my own life He moves with the speed of lightning to lift me up. The honor He shows to those
who belong to Him gives far more dignity than the pride we lay at His feet. Pride is false, His presence is True. He gives Life to the humble because those are who accept Him on His terms.
