In A Vision

By Kathy Mote

In a vision, I saw the Lord's hand reach down and lift someone up who was entangled in a huge bramble bush. She was in the desert, where this large bush grew, and try as she might, she was completely unable to move.

As He lifted her up, I saw there were threads that had entangled her, sewing her to the thorny bush. The farther from the bush the Lord pulled her, the tighter the strings pulled. He gently lifted her up and all the strings snapped. Finally she was free, completely in His hands.

The Lord has been changing our perspective as we see and hear more of Him. Carnal thinking is the natural result of not seeing beyond physical things. That is why we continually surrender the desires of our heart to Him. As we trust Him with our life, we see His desires for us and we accept them.

For some, this is scary. The stakes are high. What if His desires aren't what we want? Or something we can't handle? What if we are uncomfortable with what He desires. He doesn't tell us how wonderful His desires for us are, He asks for our trust. Many nights I lay in my bed at night hearing His voice. Trust Me, He would say. Trust that I am good. He said this to me in the midst of the most scary time of my life. As it turns out, the source of all the change and shaking was my deliverance.

Jesus has been changing our thinking as Lord of our heart. Our thinking is of Him because He is the desire of our heart. Our perspective is no longer carnal because we see Him. Trusting the Lord's will has given us a view of how powerful He is to bring change. Not being bound to the things of the earth is only the beginning of what we will see.

Father Sent Christ To Be One of Us

By Kathy Mote

Father sent Christ to be one of us because He wants to be one with us. We always think of this from our side, realizing what we receive, but do we realize that it is His own heart's desire He is fulfilling as He brings us to Him. He created all of us because of His great love for us.

Accepting What the Lord Is Doing

By Kathy Mote

For some, accepting what the Lord is doing in your heart right now is your objective rather than seeking your own comfort. That is the season that many of us are in. Unwavering co-operation seems to be the proper response to Him, at least it's the response He desires from those called to know their purpose.

Before the Lord gives you a deeper revelation of His heart, He teaches you the proper posture to walk in it. This is to keep your heart before Him. The more of His heart you understand, the less error there will be in your thinking, the more powerfully His presence is seen in you. Selfless obedience is an essential part of honoring His purpose.

The enemy is grieved at the revelation of the Father's heart. It's gonna put him, carnal thinking and religion out of business. The deeper the revelation of the love of God in your heart, the less darkness you will tolerate. The revelation of God's heart is going to be released and catch like wildfire.

The deeper the revelation, the more single-minded you become. Walking with God is becoming serious business. Those who will walk in His purpose will be powerful because His purpose is powerful. His fragrance alone is powerful.

So Why

By Kathy Mote

So why did Christ have to come? It was God's heart that He was satisfying. Christ's obedience to the Father's heart shows God's desire to bring us back to Him. He became as one of us.

Think About It

By Kathy Mote

Think about it. Was Jesus necessary? To God, I mean? He is God, He could've done the pillar of fire by night thing indefinitely. He could have remained separate from us. No, He loves us so much that yes, it WAS necessary to Him. Christ is the expression of God's commitment and faithfulness to His love for us. That love brings us into the Life that was given for us. It is His desire that we be made one with Him, not that He remain separate from us.

His love for us is why, and how He created us, why and how He corrects us. Love is how His heart operates. That is the Life within Him. In His heart, we are part of Him, so in Christ He became one of us. That is how we are able to say yes to Him, love Him back and walk with Him. His love is what makes us one with Him.

I Had A Tear In The Soft Tissue

By Kathy Mote

I had a tear in the soft tissue just beneath the skin in the crease where my leg meets my abdomen. Let me tell you, that was painful. I couldn't walk until He healed it. I gave the worry of it to the Lord, sensing that it was symbolic of something very important. I have never seen anything like it. I thanked Him and I trusted Him.

On the third day, free of pain and healed of the tear, I was given a revelation. Him healing the tear was symbolic of how we are made able to come to Him. All of our choices to accept Him, to trust Him and to walk with Him are after-the-fact, after the love He has poured out to bring us to Him. He has gone to great lengths and personal, deeply felt sacrifice to make a way for us, and give us the ability to come to Him. What He did was send His love to come get us. His love is His presence sent as our invitation.

I saw Living Waters that looked like huge flowing blue aquamarines, jewels from Heaven being given to us. Such beauty was sent to open our hearts to Him. His love is our invitation into His presence. What He has done to bring us to Him is to express His love in unparalleled magnitude. Our choice to follow is after the fact. His love working in us is what brings us to Him. He has given us legs to come to Him, and accepting Him is our response to Him.
