FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The
pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
EVERY CHILD OF GOD NEEDS TO HAVE A DEEP AND REVERENT FEAR OF "WANDERING AWAY" FROM THE COMMANDMENTS [WILL] OF GOD
Words of Prophecy:
* The entrance of My Word produces light [revelation]! The exercising of "self-desire" [leaning upon one's own understanding] allows darkness
to enter in to a continually greater degree!
...."Your testimonies are wonderful; Therefore my soul observes them. The unfolding of Your words gives light; It
gives understanding to the simple".... Psalms 119:129-130 NASB
* When My children "hear" My Word - and "accept" [receive] it - it becomes "revelation" within them, and
the entrance of that Word and the light it produced shall be found ever-expanding in them.
...."Wherewith shall a young man cleanse His way? By taking heed and
keeping watch on himself according to Your Word, conforming his life to it. With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You, and yearning for You; O let me not wander or step aside either in ignorance or willfully from Your commandments. Your
Word I have laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your statutes. With my lips I have declared and recounted all the ordinances of Your mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all
riches. I will meditate on Your precepts and have respect to Your ways, the paths of life marked out by Your laws. I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your Word".... Psalm 119:9-16 Amplified Translation
...."Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened"....
Matthew 7:7-8 NASB
There is only one way to live the life that we are called to live in Christ - and that is according to the "revealed" knowledge of God's Word
[Will]. It is only the continual "seeking" of the revelation of that Word [Will] with our whole heart that will cause us to be conformed to the Will of the Father in our thoughts, our words and our actions. Every child of God needs to have a deep and reverent
fear of "wandering away" from the commandments [Will]of God. There are many who [by their words and actions] plead ignorance of God's Will in order to continue on in their own selfish desires [self-agenda], but the time has come wherein ignorance of God's
Word [willful or otherwise] will leave one "open" to extreme satanic attack in this most critical hour.
To the degree one hardens their heart towards the Father
and His Word, it is to that degree that they will prevent the "entrance" of that Word into their heart - and, thus, they will "allow" themselves to be steered by the Evil One into ever increasing darkness and confusion. Because of these things, every child
of God must come to the place wherein they rejoice in doing the Will of God MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE! At any given time, we are going to be found doing either our own will [as the result of self-desire] or the Will of God as a result of our perfect heart-agreement
with Him. There are no other alternatives!
As we make God's Word our delight on a daily basis we will be kept by the Holy Spirit on the narrow path of perfect
obedience, and the Father's ways will become our ways and our ways His ways. And, by the power of His Word, we will be continually transformed and renewed in our hearts and minds - and, thus, our every "motivation" shall seek only to glorify and exalt His
holy Name to the greatest degree - in any given moment.
...."Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice,
acceptable to God, [which is] your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect".... Romans
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank You and praise You that, by the power of Your Spirit,
Your ways have become our ways and our ways have become Your ways. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis], in the Name of Jesus - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
