I Dream Dreams

By Kathy Mote

I dream dreams and in them are visions, seen from an aerial view. I am not flying, or soaring, or floating or looking at whatever I desire, I am seeing what the Lord is doing from His vantage point and view. He said, What I am doing is something no man can do.

In the dream I saw rapids flowing from God's mountain. Fresh, clean, clear, refreshing, but so powerful, everything and everyone was changed by its presence. No man could be on them by their own doing. No one controls this. No one can 'flow' in this, they can humble their heart before Him and hang onto Him.

Our Father said No one stands on My mountain (what I am doing in the Earth that cannot be spanned or moved or measured by the hand of man) unless I bring them to stand before Me there. No one is in on what I do until I show them their part in it. They have given Me their life, laying it down to obey. And in their heart that is their agreement. No one else knows what My hand has done until it is done.

I saw the waters flowing as they cut a path into the earth. The waters that flowed were too powerful to withstand. This is what He is doing in us and in those who are called to Him. His presence will be felt in all the Earth, and no one will say they brought it to pass.

All will be swept away by it, even those who are swept up in His arms. Upon us is the season of great change. God is rapidly changing our thinking, and when we see Him, carnal thinking will be a thing of the past.

It is His great mercy that it always boils down to where your heart is, no matter what He does everywhere else. It is His gentle kindness to those He loves to gather them into His arms, even as He burns down everyone not seeking His face.

It Seems To Me

By Kathy Mote

It seems to me that there have always been men who wanted to rule others, and there have always been men who rose to stand against them. When has there been a time in human history that wasn't filled with conflict and threat of conflict, of wars and rumors of war. Even when it was only Cain and Abel in a field, one rose against the other to take all. Men without the love of the Lord will continue to desire to rise against each other to harm, to take and to rule.

We in our time, like everyone in their own time, are grieved that people can be this way. It has always been this way. I don't know why this is such a revelation to me. The desire to rule is no new thing. When will we learn to stop warring for this world and give it to Him.

We keep hoping for a better day among men, but I look for a day when the Lord returns, with ten thousands of His saints. In that day the hearts of men will change. The world will not be a nice place to be in until it is given to Him. I think the hope we all must have is not for the world, but for the Lord, that each heart called to Him would hear His voice, and rise to Him. The only thing that will bring the change we need is His return as He gathers us to Him.

When Jesus Taught Us How To Pray

By Kathy Mote

When Jesus taught us how to pray, He gave us an example, which we call the Lord's prayer. The first thing He taught us to do is acknowledge that God is sovereign and to acknowledge Him in all our ways, not leaning to our own understanding. He said no man owes us anything, that all things belong to God, that He will provide, and that we should trust Him as He leads us. There is no scripture that directs us to pray scriptures. Ever. It does say to speak as we hear Him, and to live by every word He says to our heart.

Pray then 'like this': 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

It’s Such A Temptation

By Kathy Mote

It's such a temptation to try to 'get there' by understanding scripture, by knowing, and doing, but understanding scripture is not knowing Him, and knowing scripture is not how His Lordship or His presence works in our heart as we give our heart to Him. We are brought into Him by Him as we trust Him. He's our destination. Being one with Him is His work in us as we give ourselves to Him. We should desire Him with our whole heart, for that is how we receive Him.

Lord, May Your Children Be Raised

By Kathy Mote

Lord, may Your children be raised to know to honor You. May they rise above all that comes against You, that in Your presence, they may honor You. And what comes against You but all that is not of You. May our hearts trust in You in all that we do.

Do Not Be Confident

By Kathy Mote

Do not be confident in your knowledge of scripture, HE is what they speak of, and Life is of Him. The Pharisees knew the scriptures and continually poured over them. He reviled them, for they did not trust Him. Knowing the promise of Him doesn't fulfill the promise, He does with His presence, for being one with Him is the promise. Being in His presence is far more beautiful than reading about it.

You Are Hearing Your Own Opinion

By Kathy Mote

You are hearing your own opinion when you are judgmental. What we receive that is of any value, we receive from the Lord, so why would we argue with anyone about what we hear. What we hear from Him settles our heart. It is time to be settled, and for that we need to be humble. It is time to stop arguing over scripture, that is not where LIFE is. Life is in His presence, and this is only known by the humble as they stand before Him.

Oh, The Scriptures Are A Testimony

By Kathy Mote

Oh, the scriptures are a testimony of what we are to become, for the Word of the Living God, which is Christ, is the Life in us, giving Life to us, ever changing us. The scriptures are not something we should quote or seek to understand, they are a testimony of what He is making us as He brings us to Life in Him. That Life is being one with Him, and we enter in by giving our heart to Him.

His Life is His work and His presence in us, bringing us to Him. It is why He came. We have no other way to the Father but by Him. Understanding is not how we enter in. That is leaning to our own understanding which is not our invitation. He is.

The Holy Spirit

By Kathy Mote

The Holy Spirit wasn't just sent to comfort us, He was sent to correct us. To hear Him is to be humble and to be humbled.
