If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

The Lord Said . . .

The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said that so many want to know what He is doing in the Earth. They want to hear about the carnal things that are going on in the world. The Lord said, What I AM doing in your heart is what I am doing in the Earth.

We Have A Tendency

By Kathy Mote

We have a tendency to think that receiving God's love depends on our not messing up. We know we don't earn the right to be loved, but we still think our actions can put us in the position to not be able to receive.

We see our ability to receive instead of His ability to give and He lets us think this as He brings us with a right heart to receive what is in His heart. He wants us to care deeply and turn to Him, entering His arms, not have the wrong thinking about works.

His love never fails. But so many have been confusing His righteousness with the thinking that we have our own. He carefully tends the condition of our heart to enable us to receive and abide with Him. He once told me, I want you to care about where you are. I want you to depend on Me for that.

If I told someone with an untrained heart who was unable to abide the depth and height of My love, they would no longer feel the need to repent. So I let you learn the depth of your need of My love for you, and teach you to walk in My presence instead of your works.

When You Are Sent As A Messenger

By Kathy Mote

When you are sent as a messenger, you face the reaction of the hearers you are sent to. As far as the hearers are concerned, you, the message and the one who sent you are one. When you agree to be someone's messenger, you accept the responsibility of expressing the intentions of their heart.

In other words, as far as our Father in Heaven is concerned, you become the message yourself, for just to hear and understand it, you take it into your own heart. To be a faithful messenger, you honor Who sent you and you let His response to the hearers be the response of your heart.

Christ Is Our High Priest

By Kathy Mote

Christ Is Our High Priest

So then, since we have a great High Priest, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testing’s we do, yet he was not swayed, nor did He falter. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Hebrews 4

To come boldly meant to be sure of His mercy, and to be confident in Him.

To Be Absent From The Body

By Kathy Mote

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. He is who we face the minute we leave here. That's because He is Lord, and everything and everyone answers to Him face to face whether they believed in Him or have accepted Him in their life or not.

We have minimized Who and what He is for long enough with our religious thoughts. We are not 'saved' because we said a prayer to acknowledge Him, we are made alive in His presence by being accepted in Him. That is His work in us, not our work in Him. It is a matter of being alive to Him or not.

The criteria for being embraced as His child is to BE His child. We are 'saved' in His presence and made perfect by Him. What God considers 'perfect' is His desire living and breathing in us, bringing us to Him and making us as He is. This is His will and His Word sent to us to gather us to Him and our response to Him. What we do is yield to Him and embrace Him as we are embraced.

I Am Convinced

By Kathy Mote

I am convinced there is no one on earth who hasn't at some point in time, desired to be more than they were. No one who hasn't wanted a different hand to be dealt. No one who doesn't wish for something better. But this life isn't all it's cracked up to be. In fact, I think it is just for giving to Him.

I saw a vision of Jesus playing Go Fish with a little girl. She had one card left and He asked her for it. She held it close to her chest, realizing once it was given to Him, He would have every hope and dream she ever had. Still He asked for it. She said quite reasonably, But you already have all the rest. Can't I keep one dream for myself. He asked again, and the love in His eyes melted her heart. She gave Him her last card, her last hope, her last dream for herself forfeit to wanting to be with Him.

What the little girl didn't realize is, His dream for her is so much more glorious than her dreams could ever be. The Lord said, As I am Lord of all your heart, I will make you to know every dream I have ever had for you.

The Heart Posture

By Kathy Mote

The heart posture you had when you accepted Him as Lord is the heart posture you have as you accept His will regardless of circumstance. That is total trust and total dependence on Him, and how you stand before Him. That is what honors Him.

He once told me to be happy about His will (I tried, but I truly wasn't). He said full consent was key to participating. I wasn't excited, I didn't understand. His response to where my heart was was to build my trust by asking me for it.

He said, Accept My will, sight unseen, with the same trust as if it were a new truck or a public beheading at dawn. I giggled all day...a public beheading. That's exactly what it felt like.

So that is where I started, to surrender my dread and trust His will and to know He is just and good. His love in my heart made my heart to trust. The most wonderful thing happened. His will for me was to protect and provide and I was not beheaded at all. Nothing bad happened and I learned my lesson. Wherever He takes me, I'm down for it!

I Have A Friend

By Kathy Mote

I have a friend who asked me for prayer as she faces a crisis in her life. I said I would, and went before our Father, and waited for Him. He said to me, Ask for mercy, for she has no faith. As I obeyed Him, He showed me she does not stand before Him to accept His will from Him. I do not understand this, there is nothing but peace regardless of His response, and His response is always mercy.

So I received mercy for her and on her behalf because she asked and because He answered. I went to her and told her I prayed without telling her what He said. Her response was to ask for more prayer. She said, Keep praying. Keep me covered. Her answer broke my heart.

My heart is broken for those who don't know Him any better than that, who don't hear Him and don't trust Him. I have no judgment in my heart, only sorrow for where they are. How superstitious does a person have to be to consider the prayer more valuable than the Lord who we pray to? And what about His answer when we pray? Do we not accept His will and rest assured of His mercy? In His presence, are we not filled with comfort? In my life, He has the final say so in all things.

I am sharing because I have been asked to share so that it would be a wake up call for those who are coming out of religion and losing the religious mindset. He knows our need before we ask. What we need to know is that He loves us.

As Long As I Am Blowing People’s Carnal Thinking

By Kathy Mote

As long as I am blowing people's carnal thinking out of the water, I might as well go for broke and say, Knowing scriptures is not knowing the Lord and it is not HOW to know Him. Accepting Him as Lord in your heart every minute is how to know Him. Knowing Him personally IS the promise, for HE is God's will for you.

The promise God made is that we would be made one with Him, that we would be perfected by Him. Knowing Him intimately and personally is being 'saved'. We are 'saved' from being out of His presence, for in Him we are made one with God's heart for us.

Forty Years Ago

By Kathy Mote

Forty years ago faith teachers taught us that 'Now faith is' meant if we believe it right now, we receive it right now. This made faith a work of our own personal accomplishment. We expected Jesus to fulfill God's word, as we believed it, limiting what we 'receive' to what we could understand in our carnal thinking.

We assumed our understanding of scripture was accurate. What we didn't realize was, it wasn't. Those scriptures say we can't imagine the Life promised us. Even with the best of intentions, what we assumed was simply what our heart desired. Sadly, this meant Jesus was not Lord of it.

The Apostle Paul made walking with Jesus sound like warfare, that we war against your flesh to enter, and war to obey and to walk with Him. Although this might have been the case for Paul, who was beaten everywhere he went, I have found this not to be the case as I stand in the Lord's presence. In His presence is peace abundant.

We have interpreted scripture inadequately, not seeing Him. We have taken our carnal thinking and ran with it. We must walk with the Lord as we are brought into His presence and we must know Him face to face as He reveals His love, His will and His desire for us. That is what salvation is. It is our personal relationship with Him. His Spirit will lead us into all Truth. His presence is our destination, and we will give up everything we understand to be in it.
