So, Yesterday Was Hard

By Kathy Mote

So, yesterday was hard. I totally lost my cool so bad I am convinced I was never cool at all. I fermented like overly leavened bread when someone insulted my pride. They said, “You are coming along nicely as a prophetic voice.” Then they compared themself to me. I lost it. The insult was just too much.

I didn't have the humility to remain in peace before Him. Instead, my heart cried out. They don't know me or anything about me and I don't know them. They weren't there when I was called and named and emptied and filled to be sent. They didn't see the life that was lost. This is the only identity that I have left. They didn't honor the cost I continually pay to obey. In that moment, in my pride, neither did I.

Those who are called were called from the foundation of the earth and trained diligently by the Lord their entire, difficult, totally surrendered life. When your Father in Heaven takes you to where He stands and tells you who you are, you forever stand before Him, totally given to Him to please Him. It will cost you every ounce of pride to learn to behave as you are called as you stand before Him. In truth, you and your calling are about Him and His will.

The humbling of a human heart is excruciating, and humiliating, but the beauty of a humble heart is an honor one knows they don't deserve to walk in, so that beauty is continually given to the Lord to honor Him. As I defended myself (in the privacy of my own home) my Father said, What is this? You don't stand before Me and tell me who you are. I tell you who you are, and you come. He healed me in that moment, and instantly a peace came over me that I will never let go of no matter the cost.

Above all the interaction and distraction, my humble heart soars. No, I don't tell Him who I am. He knows, and so do I. I am one He loved enough to correct that I might abide and stay in my place before Him. I am so grateful, every time I think of it, I weep.

Just a heads up, you're not in charge of what you surrender. He is.

The Whole Truth

By Kathy Mote

The whole Truth and nothing but the Truth is God's heart for His children revealed. Abiding in His presence to become one with the Lord's heart is a dimension of warfare that has been hidden since the foundation of the creation of Earth. There is no warfare in Him.

Consider Yourself to be Blessed

By Kathy Mote

Consider yourself to be blessed when the Lord humbles your heart. This is how He reveals His thoughts on how He desires you to think, speak and act. Humble will be the new you. This is the heart posture of one called to abide and to honor His heart. As one so blessed, you won't feel the need to stand in His presence and tell Him who you are. In fact, you will never be challenged to step out of your place before Him by anyone or anything again.

To abide in His presence requires humility, which will mean honoring Him instead of arguing the issues of your heart. The more deeply you are in awe of Him, the more humbled your heart will feel. Humility is an awareness of Him, a hush and awe that comes over the heart. It stops all the noise and distractions, and it silences every voice but His. Only the humble can know true peace.

I Would Like To Share  Something

By Kathy Mote

I would like to share something the Lord showed me many years ago. He taught me the meaning of bowing before Him, getting down on one knee as the knights of old used to do. In a vision He showed me a woman in full body armor from head to toe. She took her helmet off and tucked it under her arm as she knelt before Him on one knee.

He said, In this posture her head is uncovered, left unprotected. This meant her mind and her thinking were given to Him. This meant she was willing to hear Him. In this stance she was not sure of her own balance. No one is sure of themselves on one knee. This is the posture that denotes our heart before Him as we completely trust Him.

It is in this same posture that our full armor can serve to knock us over and throw us off balance. As we call Him Lord, we are in His presence. He is our protection. We need no armor to protect us as we stand before Him. It is those who face the enemy who need the knowledge that God saved them. That is what the armor is and why He sends you out in it.
