The Lord Showed Me

By Kathy Mote

The Lord showed me that when we worship, we are in the company of angels. But when we are brought into God's presence, we are as He desires us to be as He brings us to stand before Him. This is not us talking to Him, but Him talking to us, and as He prepares our hearts to hear Him, there will be more and more of this.

The deeper we are made to know His heart and hear His thoughts, the deeper His love will heal, change and correct us. Being brought into His presence to know His heart will humble your own heart. Once you hear His voice, you never truly fit in anywhere else.

People who are carnally minded are deeply affected by the evidence of God's presence in us. They react in a way that it is wise not to take personally, even though their rejection of Him is their rejection of us. It is no small comfort that some day they will be the same as us. No one He reveals Himself to says no to Him as He secures their heart. No one.

To Be Sent As A Messenger

By Kathy Mote

To be sent as a messenger by the Lord is to express His desire for those He sent you to. To be effective as one who is sent to express God's heart, you have to honor Him in your own heart, knowing this is His will and He will bring it to pass. Too often we become embroiled in the lives of those we are sent to encourage.

This is not the act of a faithful messenger filled with confidence that His desire will be fulfilled. We focus on their reaction, not realizing how powerful He is to bring His own will to pass in them. To give and to receive a message from God's heart, everyone's eyes have to be on Him.

Surrendering

By Kathy Mote

Surrendering who He called you to be is how He brings you into Him to make you complete. You lose yourself in the process, but you gain Him. Him being Lord of His promise is how it is fulfilled.

Your Place Is With The Lord

By Kathy Mote

Your place is with the Lord. You won't find your place anywhere else. The Lord is your reward. You won't receive your reward from anyone else. Those who are continually being frustrated by what is continually withheld from them are called to a higher place than this world can offer them. Your reward is far too great to be given to you in this life. It would ruin you.

You need to be content as your obedience makes you hidden in His arms. You are His portion. You are His reward. He is finally having His way in the Earth through your life. He is ecstatic about that, but He is careful to protect your heart.

After Being Given An Understanding

By Kathy Mote

After being given an understanding of what the Lord means by a three cord strand, I would like to share it is the knowledge of Him woven into our heart to bring His heart into us. It is God's living Word bringing God's living children to Him, made alive to Him. The three stands that are not easily broken are His living Word and His living will living in our hearts, bringing us to know Him in a Life that is lived in His presence.

There are so few who are ready to hear this, but it is how He is creating His image in us and that is how He is perfecting us. This was always His plan for us. No wonder it's so important to surrender our hearts to Him. There is no other way to become one with Him.

I Have Observed Something

By Kathy Mote

I have observed something that I would like to share. People who are broken have never gotten over the hurt of being who they are. They are like empty cups. When you try to have relationship with them, your portion is withheld. You can pour into them, but they can't see or hear or feel. They are not only empty cups, they are cups that can hold nothing of their own. Only God can heal them.

I used to consider myself unfortunate to know people such as this, broken and damaged and hard to get along with. But not called to be one of them, I found myself being healed. Looking back, it was long decades in the desert just to deal with them.

Parents, siblings, husbands and friends all seemed broken beyond recall or repair. The Lord said, I will deal with them. This brings comfort to my heart, for as they are removed from my life, so is the hurt. Having given the Lord my own hurt, I realized everyone is broken until they know His love.
