The Anointing Oil of the Alabaster Box

By Deborah Waldron Fry

“The Anointing Oil of the Alabaster Box, the Fragrance of Christ shall overcome the religious spirits of ‘Pandora’s Box’ in these last days.”

I heard, “You are My Vessels of Honor with souls on Fire!”

And I saw the Bride of Christ worshiping at Jesus’ Feet, like the woman in the Bible, who took precious anointing oil and her tears fell upon His feet and she wiped them with her hair.

And I saw the fragrance of our worship as Sweet Perfume to God.  And Father was pouring out His Holy Oil upon His worshipers and it was becoming a consuming FIRE, defeating every plan of the enemy!

“Fear not, Beloved, We are One.  The negative words which are spoken about you shall have no ill effects upon you.

Those who speak against you are nothing but empty vessels.  But you are My Vessel of Honor.  You have come to My Throne of Grace through the Son.

You have moved past the crowds of people and come to My Feet to worship.  I have raised you up to sit beside the Majesty on High.  I have seen your tears.

I have heard your songs in the midst of the night seasons.  I have seen your love for Me and your faith.  Your worship is as the sweet aroma of Christ to Me.

For I have desired those who worship in Spirit and Truth.  You are so precious to Me.  My Name on your lips is pleasing; it is Perfume poured out.

The Fragrance of Christ rests upon you.  My Passion burns deep within your heart.  Your house, your body is filled with the Fragrance of My Perfume.

As My feet were anointed by the one who loved Me much, so I pour out on you.  As I defended her, so shall I defend you, My Child.

I shall defend you and EMPOWER you.  The Anointing is pouring out upon you as a fragrant Holy Oil.  This surpassing greatness of Power is of Me to overcome the enemy.

I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace.  Your worship shall never be forgotten but shall stand as a memorial forever.

This Fragrance, this Holy Oil has become a FIRE, for your God is a consuming Fire.  Whom shall you fear, Beloved?

The Anointing destroys every yoke!  In the world you will have tribulation.  But take courage; I have overcome the world! ”

Pandora’s Box : A prolific source of troubles; a process that generates many complicated problems (Merriam Webster)

“Then Mary took about a pint of expensive perfume, made of pure nard, and she anointed Jesus’ feet and wiped them with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume,”   John 12:3.

“Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached in all the world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her,”    Matthew 26:13.

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves,”   2 Corinthians 4:7.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing,”   Isaiah 10:27.

“The fragrance of Your perfume is pleasing; Your name is like perfume poured out. No wonder the maidens adore you,”   Song of Solomon 1:3.

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us triumphantly as captives in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.  For we are to God the sweet aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing,”   2 Corinthians 2:14-15.

“Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him.  And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat.  And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.  Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”

And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”

So he said, “Teacher, say it.”

“There was a certain creditor who had two debtors.  One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.  And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both.  Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?”

Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.”

And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.”  Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman?  I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head.

You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in.  You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil.  Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much.  But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.” “   Luke 7:36-50.

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world,”   John 16:33.
