The Lord Spoke To Me This Morning

By Kathy Mote

The Lord spoke to me this morning and said, You speak to the Remnant. You speak to the elite of those called before Me. Though they are few in number, they are mighty who have been taught to stand. No one relates to the sound of My voice but those who are brought to hear what I will say. Those who walk by their own will walk by their own mind, but what they do is not of Me and not by Me. They will not hear Me.

They have made their choice, and what a terrible choice. Their confidence is not of Me for their confidence is not in Me. It is the Remnant who will bring great change to the world. Those I have brought before Me are My choice. Right now they feel undone, but they are the work of My hands. Not one of their hearts will falter, not one of their feet will slip. Through them the world will see My perfect will.

No One Will Stand Before Me

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said, “No one will stand before Me and say 'I am ashamed' or 'I am dismayed'. I have brought you before Me. Look at the place you are in! Look what I have done! Know that where you are is the safest place there is. Even as you are brought before Me, you say, 'I am wrecked.'”

Joel 2

By Kathy Mote

Joel 2

1 Blow the trumpet and sound an alarm in My holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD is at hand.

2 In a day of great darkness, a great people will appear like the dawn; there hath never been any like them, neither shall there be to rival them, even to the years of many generations.

3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burns. Nothing shall escape them as they bring His ways to man.

4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and with great strength, so shall they run.

5 Like the noise of chariots on the mountains shall they leap, like the flame of fire that devours, they are a strong people set in battle array.

6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all will see them as proof of GOD and they will feel sorrow in their heart before Him.

7 The Lord's Beloved shall run like mighty warriors; they shall overtake all for every one will hear His voice and will not be moved:

8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one with Him: and when they are attacked, they shall not be wounded or fall. No power can overtake them.

11 The LORD shall utter His voice before them, for He is powerful and great: He is strong that executeth His word: He is the Warrior of Heaven, and the day of the LORD is great and terrible; who can abide it? He will bring great change to the Earth.

12 Therefore turn to the Lord with all your heart, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and He is quick to take you into His arms.

21 Fear not, be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

25 He will restore the years that were lost, those years that He tried our heart.

26 And we shall praise the name of the LORD our God, that hath dealt wondrously with us: the Lord said we shall not be ashamed.

27 And we shall know that He is in the midst of us, that He is the LORD our God. The Lord said, I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh;

32 And whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for where I AM there is deliverance, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

The passage has been paraphrased to make clear, this is what the Lord said. I see horses of fire, and light shines from within them. Where they step there is Holy fire. They are powerful as He raises them. His presence and power will ignite them. He called those He has called to Him His Remnant from the beginning of time. For long years they have learned to abide.

He Will Keep You In Perfect Peace

By Kathy Mote

He will keep you in perfect peace, and He will humble your heart to do this. He will tell you of His love for you. He will surround you to protect you. He will keep you hidden in the folds of His garment. You needn't worry about your place in the world, you are not part of it. You only need to listen to Him, and He will guide your footsteps. When others run ahead of Him, He will keep you with Him. It is His great and terrible mercy that He brings your heart before Him.

One Of The Sweetest Rewards

By Kathy Mote

One of the sweetest rewards for belonging to Him is embracing the comfort of trusting Him. It is knowing you will become what He wants as He calls you to Him. It is the peace of knowing He chose you, you did not choose Him, and all the love in your heart is His presence and the knowledge of Him, bringing you to Him. This is now your perspective as you abide in Him, for how He sees you is how you see Him.

You Cannot Blaspheme God

By Kathy Mote

You cannot blaspheme God unless you have known Him. I would like to share a simple truth the Lord has shown me. The beast who was mortally wounded is the pride in the heart of those who profess to know Him but don't continue in Him to truly know Him. His sword (the power of His Spirit declaring Him) wounded them as He brought their own thinking to nothing. He will do this by revealing His thinking.

Revelation 13:5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It (pride) opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander His name and His dwelling place and those who live in Him and all who have believed Him. 7 Pride was given the power to wage war against God's holy people to test and try every heart in every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship their own pride--all except those whose names have been written in the Lamb's book of life, who (continually) abide in Him.

9 Whoever has ears, let them hear. The only power strong enough to save you from your own thinking is God's love in your heart drawing you to hear Him as He speaks to you.

(Paraphrased for clarification.)
