the Eyes of My Heart, LORD!
By Sandi Holman
My heart has been crying out to The LORD to reveal truth and show me how to pray.
I have cried “LORD! Open the eyes of my heart! LORD! Open the eyes of my heart! I want to see You! I want to see You!”
me quickly and said, “Many know about truth, but few have the Knowledge of The Truth.”
He said, “Just as I said to My Disciples in John 8:31-32, ‘If ye continue in My Word, then,
are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free’.
Everyone will not know the truth, because they are not CONTINUING in My Word, because it is The Knowledge
of The Truth, that will make you free.”
Beloved, it is the Knowledge of HIM that is also lacking.
His Word says,
“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,” 2 Peter 1:2.
This past week has been one of great reflection and listening
to The LORD. It was partly me, pouring out my heart and frustration with the division taking place in America.
My intercession against deception and the battle for Truth to prevail in the hearts
of those who have become double-minded, has been an ongoing war in the spirit for months.
Envy, self-ambition, strife and jealousy are working together to hinder the great awakening and to even deceive
the very elect.
Competition and comparison due to lack of identity is continuing to grow in the Church as we are in the chaotic times facing the most dramatic change of our lifetime in America.
Where we find envy and self-seeking that leads to self-preservation, we will have confusion and every evil work.
It is quite evident that our hearts have deceived
us. Evil no longer has crept in through the back door but has boldly walked into the unguarded hearts of those who have allowed the issues of offense to take them captive.
As I cried out to The LORD,
He spoke to me so tenderly and simply said, “The world is starving for true intimacy and affection. Real intimacy begins with you,” said The Father.
“Experiencing true intimacy
begins with being connected to your own heart.”
I once heard someone teach on intimacy and the definition stuck with me. Real intimacy mean “in-to-me-see.”
In other words, how can anyone else SEE INTO you and know who you are including your dreams, hopes, fears, as well as what you desire unless you first know who you are and are willing to allow them in? Intimate relationships are built —
little by little — as trust is developed.
The desire of our heart wants to be known, understood, and accepted just as we are. The ultimate fulfillment lies in a reciprocal desire: to know and
Beloved, real ‘intimacy’ flows out of feeling totally accepted just as we are. The world has simply interpreted ‘intimacy’ simply as merging our bodies in sex.
God’s Word says,* “and the two shall become one” in the marriage covenant, but somehow many have shared their bodies but have never shared their hearts.
We are watching The LORD expose the sex trafficking all over the world that is rampant, the violation of our young children being used and thrown away as man has sought to satisfy their desire for intimacy with lust only to remain defiled and empty.
Physical contact on the surface appears as intimacy, but it only lasts for a moment. S ex is not the source of intimacy, but only an expression of it.
sex trafficking in the world reveals that we live in a world of users. Many men keep demanding and women give in hoping for love. Sadly enough, the abuse leaves deep scars of “addiction as well as the pain of feeling thrown away”.
When The LORD first spoke to me of the world being starved for intimacy, He said, “I know you intimately. I made you and I can ‘see into you’.
AM the only one who can see into your heart. That is why I exhort you to ask Me to show you your heart.
When you are connected to your own heart and we are connected heart to heart, true intimacy
takes place and it is life changing as you see in to me and know my heart and I see in to you and change your heart.
Every other thing flows from you abiding in me and me abiding in you,” says The
“This is the only intimacy that will heal that which is lacking. Knowing who you are in Me and walking in that true identity…. I have come in this hour to melt the cold,
cold, hardened hearts of those who have become double minded and have chosen to live self-serving lives.
I AM coming to rescue the perishing.”
I did my Discipleship Training School with YWAM, we learned that in order to truly transform any nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, there were seven facets of society that must be reached: Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts & Entertainment
I suddenly realized that how heavily the world has been influenced by the worldly perspective of the Media, Religion, and the Government.
LORD began to speak again. His Word was simply this, “It is time to recover sight to the blind.”
I heard the nursery rhyme suddenly ring in my head. ”Three blind mice….”
and He said the story behind that limerick was about religious persecution and control such as we are seeing in the world today.
Even as Paul was blinded by a bright light on the road to Damascus, so shall
many who have participated in the persecution of justice and truth in these last days come to the light and be baptized, (Acts 9:3-18).
He spoke clearly, “Daughter, I say to you get ready
to rumble, for my radiant Remnant is arising with a great Awakening and I AM arming them with a clear understanding of everything that once was twisted.
I AM infusing them with the much needed physical
and spiritual perspectives that will birth new understanding.
These warriors shall know truth in their inward parts, that will bring simplicity to their thinking and peace to their actions.
They will be light carriers who will show forth The Light of My Glory. As My Power flows through them, they will be the living proof that the enemy’s time is short.
The reality of their God-given Authority shall be seen and heard as they arise and shine,” says the Father of Light.
Beloved, seeing with real eyes and hearing with real ears, can only
come through The Spirit and not the flesh.
Matthew 13:15 says, “their ears were dull of hearing and their eyes were closed” pretty much describes the state of so many today.
It brings to mind Adam and Eve in the garden, when they lost the presence of the Holy Spirit.
My prayer today is, “LORD, give us eyes to see and ears to hear, and open up the understanding
of our hearts that we may serve You in wisdom and truth and walk in holiness as we serve You in Jesus’ Name.”
