God’s Will

By Kathy Mote

God's will is that Jesus bring the Life that is promised into us by bringing us into HIM. HE is the Life that is promised, and we are made as God desires in our relationship with Him. HE is the Life and power of God's Word, for He is the expression of God's will.

The point of every promise in the scriptures is HIM and HE is how God's promises are fulfilled. It's time to stop the carnal thinking that God's will comes to pass by any other means but by accepting Him, abiding in Him and trusting Him.

We are changed by no other means but Him. We are raised by Him and filled with the Life God promised by Him. Only the humble will abide in Him. He is their desire and His desire flourishes in them. They will not covet His glory as they honor Him. He has humbled every heart called to Him, and humbly is how they remain in Him.

The Response

By Kathy Mote

The response you are getting from people these days is their reaction to Him as you are being raised in God's presence and filled. The rejection you are experiencing as people lash out is their rejection of Him Whose presence you are in. The warfare in people's hearts is obvious as they grapple with His effect on them. It is time to snuggle in deep and remain hidden in Him as He brings about His will.

To Share

By Kathy Mote

To share in Christ's sufferings is to live your life to obey the Father's will. It is to lay down your pride to honor Him. It is to accept the humbling circumstance that is your portion, trusting He will accomplish His will. That is what Jesus did and that is how He lived, considering the Father's heart to be His own heart as well.

So What Does It Mean

By Kathy Mote

So what does it mean to share in the sufferings of Christ? The devil has always been jealous of God's glory. The world has always despised and rejected Him, jealous of His authority and power to bring God's perfect will about. This is because they despise authority and covet power.

The world has always rejected God's presence. The devil retaliates against Christ's authority, fighting against God's promise coming to pass in us, causing great heartache and pain to God's people and to God's heart.

We share in Christ's sufferings when the devil resents God's promise that Christ bring us into the presence and glory of God. To be hated and resisted, competed against and denied respect is the persecution that comes against the authority, power and presence of God.

These are Christ's sufferings, for what is not filled with Christ is jealous of Christ, resisting His authority and all that is in Him. We share in Christ's sufferings as we endure and overcome all that comes against His promise to raise us, and we are like a tree planted by the waters as we are raised by Him.

There Are Those Who Refuse

By Kathy Mote

There are those who refuse to accept that God is sovereign. They want what they consider just from Him, but they don't know His heart for them. Even as they want justice from Him, they do not honor Him.

You cannot dictate your terms to Him. To accept that He is Lord is to acknowledge that He is sovereign. He is still sovereign as you walk with Him, and in His presence He will teach you of Him that you might honor Him. Those who will not bow to Him have no Life in them. He did not bring them because they are not ready for Him.

I know such a one. In fact, I know several, and just as I was about to give up on them, He told me He would handle them. There are some who have traveled far from Him. Those are the steps they had to take to be found of Him. This is to say they have walked many miles hating themselves and hating Him, but coming to the end of all bitterness, He will gather them, for He is promised to them.

Yesterday the Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

Yesterday the Lord said, “I have loved you by design.” I barely grasped the concept of what a He was saying. Today it is hitting me like a bomb.  He showed me that long before He said, “Let there be Light,” He worked out every detail of how we would turn out, eternally with Him with hearts that can abide in His heart. Every detail of how to bring us to Him, made perfect by Him, He provided for that we would be perfectly made. This was His desire.

We receive His love to be in His presence His way and on His terms as Lord, and being brought into His presence, He fills us with the Life in Him. We are made perfect by His heart in ours, and we reflect His perfect heart back to Him. This is how He is teaching us to make Him our continual choice. In our heart, we continually call Him Lord. He is creating in us a clean heart, one able to abide in His presence that honors Him.

He is Light and in Him is no darkness at all. No darkness of any kind can abide in His presence. By the very power and integrity of His nature, what comes against Him doesn't abide, it is overcome. So He removes the weakness we were born with (not being in His presence, completely filled with all the fullness of Him) from our heart.

So the heart that is made perfect is one that is given to Him. Every detail of our creation and salvation was planned out long before the earth was formed. He loved us by design means there is order in every detail of what He is doing in us. I am so blessed, I am beyond thrilled.
