So Many Are Teaching

By Kathy Mote

So many are teaching (and believing) that we have been given authority. Jesus Himself said that He was given all authority. People have failed to see past their own carnal sight and nature. Authority means the ability and power to rule. That is what Christ does as He is Lord of us. But He does nothing in us or through us if He isn't Lord of us.

When you see HIM, you see who and where you are, and finally, what He is doing in you. Christ's authority to rule is the ability to bring you to Life. Walking in (and by) that Life is remaining in Him, and that changes your heart and mind. The devil is here to tempt you to remain as you are. To overcome that temptation, you resist him. But the devil isn't the focus of our life, honoring Jesus as Lord and walking in His presence is.

By definition, being given Life is 'being' in His presence. The truth is, as we walk in God's presence, the devil is nowhere around. Light and darkness do not abide in the same place. As we obey the Lord, the devil flees as we stand on the ground we take from him. That ground is our place of deliverance.

In A Vision

By Kathy Mote

In a vision I see a bright Light rising in the Lord's Beloved. It is breaking all the darkness around them. The Lord said, No shadow will hold them. No darkness will befall them to overshadow them. I will break every darkness that comes against them. This is My presence in them. I will silence every threat that rises to defeat them. This is My place as Lord and My authority to protect and deliver them. Their heart is My domain, and I will raise them.

Trust

By Kathy Mote

Trust is the difference between a challenge and an adventure. Ok, I'll be honest. I've never enjoyed being challenged or going on an adventure. I like calm, uneventful, peaceful and quiet. But that's not what happens in the life of one called to be a warrior after His heart whose heart He has championed.

So let me share what the Lord taught me about these concepts as they are defined. Warrior means one who will lay everything down to remain before Him. Their love for Him is His love for them. That love is so strong, the power and presence of it changes them that they might be enabled to remain. To carry His heart, their heart must be made pure and emptied of self.

And this is what the Lord taught me He means by adventure, to take (move into and abide in) new territory by His Word (the powerful presence of the Lord as He brings about His will). To move and be moved like this is a lot like a dance, held in His arms, face to face, for to follow Him this closely, His heart must be felt in yours. This means not fighting against His will, but abiding in Him, adoring and being adored with a trust that runs deep.

And finally, He told me that by faith, He means His. It is His will and His desire coming to pass as it brings us with it. He brings us to things unseen, far beyond our own hopes and dreams. This is the most powerful lesson of all, that we come to Him as we are called, and He called us His own.

Did You Ever Stop To Wonder

By Kathy Mote

Did you ever stop to wonder that those who hurt us the most are the ones filled with God's purpose? If you doubt what I say, just look at Joseph, David, and Esther. Now look at your own life and see it anew. The situations that tear you down are what the Lord uses to refine your heart and bring it to Him, to remake how you esteem yourself by allowing you to honor Him, and finally, to make you as He is.

They give you the qualities that He holds so dear, those that give you indomitable strength and a heart that is pure. Your challenges make you as sharp as a sword. As you burn in them, you become refined as living oil.

In A Dream

By Kathy Mote

In a dream, the Lord called His most precious daughter to Him and gave her a stone. He did this to help her see what was in her own heart. He said, This stone represents your life. It is a gift that will teach you the beauty of receiving it.

As she looked at it, hoping for something beautiful and good, she was crestfallen, for her stone was the cloudy color of mud. Her feelings were hurt, and she looked at Him, wondering how she would ever be able to receive such a deeply humbling thing. Her heart cried out that her stone was dark and unattractive. He smiled at her and said, No, look again, as He pressed it into her hand. There's fire in it. I promise.

She held the stone with a humble heart because she wanted to receive her gift from the Lord. To be resentful didn't comfort her heart. Neither did being angry or jealous or hurt. She so desired to stand with Him among the stones holding hers.

He had seemed so excited about it. It was her desire for Him that brought out the humility in her heart, and that humility caused her to see, the stone was filled with brilliance and fire and a rare beauty when looked into deeply.

As she saw the beauty in respecting that stone, her heart was changed. That stone was the perfect gift for her. After many difficult years learning to love her gift as much as He did, her heart toward what the Lord had given her had changed, and the fire in her heart burned deep.

It Is Time

By Kathy Mote

It is time to stop taking it personally when people don't have the integrity to treat us well. Their behavior is not a reflection of what we deserve from them or anyone. It is time to know who we are, to take our gift of humility and wear it well, for it is wrapped around us. The Lord has surely preserved us.

The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said it is more difficult to be humble as the glory becomes evident than it is when you are rejected by what is unjust. It was in the rejection that your heart was trained to accept all that the Lord's will is. The Lord will now open your eyes to more of Who He is. That is how you will keep your place, standing before Him.

The Lord Said, “You’re Not Equipped . . .”

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said, “You're not equipped to handle the resentment that you face. You're not able to carry the burden of rejection of the whole human race. You're not able to bear up under the weight or the consequence of the anointing placed upon your life, it is such a weighty gift that will accomplish what is in My heart. But you will. As you stand in My presence, all your hurt will be made right.”

“As you accept your place in My will, I will strengthen your heart. I will show you who you are. As you give Me all, all you need will be yours. As all belongs to Me, all will be alright. The gift is the anointing, and it expresses My heart. That is why you are rejected, in such a time as this.”

He Is The Calm In The Storm

By Kathy Mote

He is the calm in the storm. As you trust Him you fear no storm. No storm overtakes Him and nothing can stay His hand, which means nothing stops Him from moving on your behalf. Part of trust is knowing He will bring about His perfect plan and will. You have to know His love to rest in Him as He does this. You have to know you belong to Him.

Now here is something you don't know until you know to accept His will. You must let go of your own will, having no fear of what His is. His will for you is something He has long planned, and that is what He brought you to see. He never takes His eyes off of you, never stops preparing your heart to see. You are the workmanship of His loving hands, and oh, what beauty He brings.

What gentle mercy He has as He reveals His sovereignty to you. 'Peace, be still' was for your ears to hear.

Every Thought That Is Not Of Him

By Kathy Mote

Every thought that is not of Him, the Lord is going to take down. Every religious practice man has done to celebrate their own beliefs will be upstaged by Him. All those who fill the great halls by declaring themselves worthy will hang their heads in shame. All those who seek fame and popularity will break their own heart at His appearing. But those precious and beloved who hang on His sleeve, He will be known to them. The thing most wanted in their heart is what He desired them to have. Him.

The Lord Taught Me

By Kathy Mote

The Lord taught me something that I would like to share. Be forewarned it causes a paradigm shift. What He started with "Let there be Light" He is not finished with, and He won't be until all who are called to Him are filled. All who have lived and died before us will receive the promise of being made perfect in Him when He comes. He told me they are waiting in Him.

He said, You think, therefore you are...the limited perspective that all of creation has struggled with because they see only what they can see. They think all there is to God's promise is what they can perceive and believe. This is because they see themselves, and not Him.

They believe therefore they receive, and that is just in their own thinking, which is not what comes from being filled with Him and being changed. His promise to perfect all of creation by filling it with the perfect knowledge of Him just hasn't been made complete yet. The Holy Spirit is a promise of things to come and leads you to Him and the Truth in Him.

The promise of being made one with Him is something we are currently being prepared to accept and abide in. In this life, we are growing into who we will become in Him. We each have our time on the Earth to learn of Him and accept Him in our heart. Our flesh is just the stuff we are in. It's our heart that will abide in Him. What glory will we be covered in then?

You think that being 'saved' is the end of the promise? Or being Spirit filled? Or being healed? The promise is to be made one with Him, filled with all the fullness of God and spend eternity in glory.

Do you wonder about the people who were born before Jesus came? What about those who lived and died before the Holy Spirit was poured out on all flesh? Are they not saved as well? Are they not partakers of His promise too? We are all being created and filled with His love, the better to return to Him. We all are seated on the palm of His hand, waiting for His return. All will be perfect then.

The Lord Told Me To Share

By Kathy Mote

The Lord told me to share about the bull in the field. In a vision so sweet, I saw Jesus in a fenced-in field with several little lambs. He was tending them and they adored Him, listening to every word He said. As He called their name, they came to Him and He fed them from His hand. It was a safe and sweet place until a bull was found in it. The bull ruined everything for the lambs.

The bull kept eating the food set aside for the little ones, making great stinking piles of it under the shade tree so that they had no rest there. The Lord rebuked the bull, sending it away, making a safe place for the lambs.

The Lord said, “The bull is the pride that rises to take the heart of every man from Me, thinking to make their own way. It is the struggle of every heart who gives themselves to Me. Pride blinds hearts to Me, but it does not rise in the heart that sees Me.”

“Pride would 'take' what was meant to be given, mocking the heart that gave the gift. Pride declares itself as it has its way, making goats of sheep. To My thinking, pride offends My sheep, so I carefully tend every heart given to Me.

What I learned in this is that pride describes not seeing Him. So every time I 'go my own way' and every time I'm in trouble, every time I feel the pain of not knowing and resting and trusting His will, I am not seeing Him. So I lay my heart and my thinking down and as I turn to Him, I am filled.”

Those Who Walk

By Kathy Mote

Those who walk according to their flesh have not seen Him and know nothing of His will. His will for them was established from the beginning, and had they seen Him, they would trust Him to bring about His will.

Seeing Him, they would call Him Lord of all that they desire, and desiring Him, they would call Him Lord of all that is in their heart. As Lord, He would bring His will to pass, something far grander than they could desire.

It takes the trust of one who knows Him to abide in Him, knowing He will establish His will. This is how He has His way as Lord. This is not us going on our own way. This is us going His. To surrender our will is what it is to be undone. For Him to establish His will in us is what it is to be made.
