The Lion is on the Move!

By Deborah Waldron Fry

I heard a Shofar blow (in the Spirit) and heard, “The Lion is on the Move…”

“Beloved.  Hear the Divine Battle Cry, My Warrior.  Hear the Sound of the Holy Shofar, the Ram’s Horn.

Time to awake from sleep.  Time to cast down all fear.  Time to rise up in the Power of My Might.  I have prepared you well.  The Lion of Judah has prevailed.

I go before you and I AM your Rear Guard.  Whom shall you fear?  I have heard your cries for intervention.  I AM on the Move, Beloved.  Who shall be able to withstand the Sound of the Lion of Judah?

Who shall stand in My Way?  No one, Beloved.  My Plans are going forth without fail.  I AM He who knew the end from the beginning.

I AM He who makes a way where there seems to be no way.  I AM your King from ancient times, working salvation on the earth.

I AM He who divided the sea by My Strength and smashed the heads of the dragons of the sea; I have crushed the heads of Leviathan.

The alarm is ringing out on My Holy Mountain, proclaiming the Day of The LORD is near!  All the demons are trembling for they see My Great Spirit-filled Army rising up.

Fear not, oh Mighty Warrior!  The Presence of your God goes before you and is with you always.  The Sound of your Rising is creating great confusion in the enemy’s camp!

Arise and shine, Beloved.  Weep no more.  Now is the Day of Salvation!  Pursue, My Army, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all!  It is finished!”

In Biblical times the shofar’s call was a battle cry.  Symbolically, it rallies us as God’s soldiers to action: it’s our wake-up call to leave the day’s solemnity behind and fight to live the best life possible. (Jeusalem Post) Shofars were also blown by warriors in battle, and by musicians in the Temple.  The sound of the teruah is both earthly and Divine.  Music can be celebratory, but the sound of the shofar is more than just a sound of jubilation.  It is the sound of the PRESENCE OF GOD, and the sound we use to cry out to God when we need God’s intervention. It is nature-made.  It is simple.  Many people think that a teruah sounds like a voice crying out . (© My Jewish Learning)

“Blow the ram’s horn in Zion; sound the alarm on My holy mountain! Let all who dwell in the land tremble, for the Day of the LORD is coming; indeed, it is near a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like the dawn overspreading the mountains a great and strong army appears, such as never was of old, nor will ever be in ages to come…..

….. The LORD raises His voice in the presence of His army. Indeed, His camp is very large, for mighty are those who obey His command. For the day of the LORD is great and very dreadful. Who can endure it?”   Joel 2:1-2,11 BSB.

“Again, if the trumpet sounds a muffled call, who will prepare for battle?”   1 Corinthians 14:8.

“So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop?  Shall I overtake them?”  And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.””   1 Samuel 30:8.

“Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”  See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16redeeming the time, because the days are evil,”   Ephesians 5:14-15.

“And one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed so as to open the book and its seven seals,””   Revelations 5:5.

“Yet God is my King from ancient times, working salvation on the earth. You divided the sea by Your strength; You smashed the heads of the dragons of the sea;14You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You fed him to the creatures of the desert.…”   Psalm 74:12-13.
