Rejoice in the Lord

By Kathy Mote

Rejoice in the Lord in all things; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, and the peace of God, which is not contingent upon understanding, but dwells richly in your heart, will guard your heart and your mind as you are sure of Him.

You Are Impatient

By Kathy Mote

"You are impatient. You want instant results." This is what the Lord said to me as He quieted my soul. The anxiety in me completely stopped. So this is what it is to walk by faith, and not by sight, to see what He said instead of looking for the results. What I had been doing was looking for proof. I hadn't realized that. Watching the battlefield isn't resting in the victory He declared.

He taught me to surrender my will and expectations of what He will do. This enabled me to stand still before Him trusting in His will, an essential part of abiding in Him which is to agree with Him.

A new day is dawning, that's for sure. Those of us who see the first rays of Light are feeling the push. Trusting that the Lord will bring about His will and abiding in Him as He does defines being a part of His body in the Earth. That is how we are part of what He is doing in the Earth.

When Jesus Walked the Earth

By Kathy Mote

When Jesus walked the Earth, people didn't fully see God's agenda in Him. They thought He would rule and reign in their time, defeating the cruel government of that day. No one completely understood His full impact on the human race because God's plan for all of creation was not yet revealed. That He was God's way of salvation was what was revealed. Salvation is personal, and personally is how you communed with Him.

But the Lord is revealing His agenda for all of creation, merging His agenda with current events, and He has been revealing these things to me. Before President Trump was elected, the Lord said, "I'm about to become involved in current events." Then He put Donald Trump in.

This came as such a relief to my broken heart, as the president before that had tried to destroy the moral code and values of this country I live in. This is a free country, known for our freedoms, the country itself being based on the freedom to worship God. Many lives paid for our freedoms, spelled out in the constitution of the United States.

So socialism, Marxism, and every other ism you care to name where men desire to rule and take away freedom are anathema to our heart after living free. But in light of how politics in this country have escalated into a battle not only between right and left, but life and death, I have felt the Holy Spirit's heart wrenching intercession for God's will to come to pass and I'm not the only one.

So this is what I know. After much refining to be established in our place, we will be transformed and changed, and after a gathering in Heaven to celebrate, we will come back to live here, in a new Heavens and a new Earth. My heart rejoices at the thought of this, although there are many details missing in my understanding of all that will come to pass.

God has been gathering each one of us who are called to Him into His arms and teaching us to abide in Him. We are to be transformed into the desire of His heart, filled to overflowing with His Light to the point of being changed, our mortal bodies being exchanged for something far more beautiful, and then we will abide in Him.

This is something I cannot imagine the beauty of. My thoughts are human and this is something not yet revealed. There is far more to His plan than we know, but He said it is right there, hidden in plain sight in the scriptures, and we will only understand it as we experience it.

There is a point to what He is doing in this life that goes beyond this life and it will all bring about His plan in the end. He will be exposing the evil that comes against His plan, and in a great show, He will make a joke of it, taking it down. So we will rejoice in Him and trust in Him along with the great cloud of witnesses who wait for Him. Evil has had its day. Now the Lord will have His.

We Have Taken The Commandment

By Kathy Mote

We have taken the commandment to 'love one another' to mean we are to be unified and brought together as one by our efforts to get along. This puts our focus on each other instead of Him. But we are brought together by finding and remaining in our place in His heart in our relationship with Him.

In context to what He is doing in us and in all of creation, the command to love was meant to mean, 'play nice until My return.' Trying to 'get along', we focus on compromise and end up with argument not knowing our place is in Him. This is a carnal perspective because it is not centered on Him. It is His Spirit that makes us all His body, in unison joined to Him.

We are brought into His presence by His Spirit, and by His Spirit, we are made one with Him. He is who we are being united with and devoted to as we obey Him, and our eyes and our focus are on Him. That is the whole point of the lives we have been given to live. As we are brought into our place in Him, His heart known to us, we will see His perspective on a great many things. The limited understanding we have had in the flesh will blow away like vapor in the wind.
