FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave
them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
IT IS ONLY THE EXERCISING OF FAITH AND LOVE [THROUGH OBEDIENCE] THAT WILL SUPERCEDE [THE FORCE OF] FEAR
Words of prophecy:
* One MUST be found "abiding" in the place wherein both of their feet are firmly planted in the Kingdom [seated, in Christ, at My
right hand] - for it is from that place alone where they are empowered to see ALL things [including the Enemy's schemes] through My eyes.
...."But seek [aim at
and strive after] first of all His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right]".... Matthew 6:33 The Amplified Translation
...."And He [the
Father] raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus [the Messiah, the Anointed One]".... Ephesians 2:6 The Amplified Translation
...."Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above,
not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God".... Colossians 3:1-3 NASB
...."How blessed is the man who does
not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law [Word] of the LORD, and in His law [Word] he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of
water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers".... Psalms 1:1-3 NASB
It is of the utmost importance
in this hour for every last child of God to know [gain a deep revelation of the spiritual reality]that it is ONLY the exercising of faith and Love [which are Kingdom "forces"] that will "supersede" [the force of] fear. Therefore, as one sets themselves to
walk in faith, love and obedience the spontaneous fruit will be a constant flow of Grace [divine empowerment] that will keep them in the "high place" [seated at the right hand of the Father, in Christ].
This is how one truly enters into the place of having "both feet" firmly planted in the Kingdom - far above the "world" and its oppressive and darkened [fear-filled] ways. This truly is a time of "miracles" [divine intervention] and great [divine] restoration
on every front - and, thus, it is certain that we [as we continue to exercise faith and trust in the Father and His Word] - will not be disappointed in ANY way as God's plan for our life and ministry unfolds perfectly before us.
supersede- to replace in power, authority, effectiveness; to set aside or cause to be set aside as void, useless, or obsolete; supplant;
"perfect obedience"- receiving a revelation of the Father's
Will, and then carrying out that Will in the timing [unction]and power of the Holy Spirit - alone [through the continual exercising of an absolute faith working through a perfect love];
...."There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown [complete, perfect] love [faith and obedience] turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror!".... 1 John 4:18a The Amplified Translation
...."For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, how blessed is the man who trusts in You!".... Psalms 84:10-12 NASB
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank You and praise You that You have raised us up a people who have "both feet" firmly planted in the Kingdom - a people who walk far above the "world" and its
ways. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis], in the Name of Jesus - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
