"God Says: I Am Fast-Tracking My People Into Their Kingdom Purpose!"

By Glenn Bleakney

The Father is committed to seeing you fulfill your destiny. He is poised to launch you into a season of rapid advancement so you can complete your assignment here on Earth and finish well.

Many of God's children, though exceptionally gifted, have not reached their full potential in the Kingdom. Often, this is because they are distracted.

You may have great capability, but what about your availability? Are you constantly putting out fires? Does it seem as if you keep being pulled off track? Do you have too many irons in the fire?

Many great women and men of God around the globe, while attempting to do significant Kingdom assignments, are being met with strong resistance from the kingdom of darkness. Paul personally experienced this in his day. He understood that satan works hard to block Believers from making progress in the Lord.

"For we wanted to come to you—certainly I, Paul, did, again and again—but satan blocked our way." (1 Thessalonians 2:18 NIV)

The Greek word for "blocked" is egkopto. The primary idea of this word is that it is an obstruction created by an enemy in order to prevent further progress. In ancient times, egkopto was used to describe a road that was in such ruin no one could travel on it. Paul uses this same word in Galatians to depict a runner cutting in and knocking down a competitor in a race:

"You were running a good race. Who cut in on [egkopto] you to keep you from obeying the truth?" (Galatians 5:7 NIV, emphasis added) Make no mistake about it, the devil is intent on preventing your progress, blocking your blessing, and delaying your destiny. Often his strategy is to fragment your focus through preoccupation with things of lesser importance. He launches a campaign to thwart your destiny using diversionary tactics. He is a master distractor.

What is the solution? How do we overcome these challenges?

How to Overcome

Recently while in prayer, I heard the Lord say, "If My people will attend to Me and My purposes, I will attend unto them." I was then led by the Spirit to read God's promise to Abraham in Genesis 12:3, "I will bless those who bless you..."

In Hebrew, the verb "bless" is barak. And the word berek, which comes from the word barak, which means "knee" and speaks of kneeling and rendering service to someone. God was not implying He would "bend His knee" as in an act of paying homage to a mere human. I believe His meaning to Abraham was, "I will serve and attend to those who serve and attend to you."

What a profound truth: God attends to His people when we attend to His Kingdom! Not only will He ensure that all our basic needs are met, but He will also fast-track us into our destiny.

"...Even today I declare that I will restore double to you." (Zechariah 9:12)

The Lord has even promised to restore our wasted years (see Joel 2:25). How can such a thing occur?

God's Promise to Us

In Joel 2:23, we are granted insight into how this miraculous promise comes to pass: "...And He will cause the rain to come down for you—the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month." In Israel, there were two rainy seasons known respectively as the former and latter rains. God was saying that He would supernaturally cause a convergence of both the latter and former rains in one month, which would result in the full restoration of what was taken away by the drought they had experienced.

Nothing is impossible for the LORD. He will restore to us what has been lost and stolen. It's time to de-clutter our lives and disengage from all distractions.

God is looking for a people that will live in priority—seeking first His Kingdom and righteousness, making His will their will, and having no personal agenda. Such people of priority will experience the provision of Heaven. Jesus Himself has promised that when we live for the King's vision, the provision of the Kingdom will be ours – a hundredfold, now, in this time.

"So Jesus answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the Gospel's, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.'" (Mark 10:29-31)
