The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said, I have removed from your life everybody who disrespected My will for your life. This sucked the wind out of me as I realized this was everybody because of what His will for my life is. Glory.

When You Don’t Accept His Will

By Kathy Mote

When you don't accept His will, you are not accepting that He is Lord...it means the same thing and you can't do one without the other.

The Lord Spoke To My Heart

By Kathy Mote

The Lord spoke to my heart, deep in my heart, and said, If I remove your restraints, will you stay with Me as I have taught you to say?

My heart lept not at the thought of Him removing my restraints and all that has humbled me. It lept at the thought of not leaping at all, remaining in His presence as He called me to be.

For Those Who Would Command

By Kathy Mote

For those who would command (anything) He is showing us a better way. Isn't it far better to be filled with His glory instead, to be at His command instead of commanding things in His name?

Therefore I Tell You

By Kathy Mote

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life. He will take care of your life. Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?

Therefore do not worry, but put Him first to be made right with Him and honor Him, and He will provide for you.

Matthew 6

I Have Been To The Lord

By Kathy Mote

I have been to the Lord regarding the thorn in my flesh and He told me I must wait. As I wait, He is faithful to hold me on the palm of His hand. I accept His decree. I don't wait for Him to release me from my thorn, I wait on Him. I don't hope for better things to come, I hope for Him, and I trust Him.

What thorn remains in my body is surrendered to Him as my heart is surrendered to Him. For having surrendered all, I have seen Him transform my heart, bringing me to Him.

Yesterday as I raised my arms above my head to wash my hair, the swelling in my throat threatened to choke my lights, and I lowered my hands. He spoke to my heart, reminding me that I stay in my place just as the stars in the Heavens do. Because He said.

I accept that, plain and simple, with no need for further explanation of His future plans for my life. So I raised my arms again, and was free of the feeling that I might faint. It has no power over me. Because He said.

He showed me how to cast it down and throw it at my feet, not afraid of it, knowing it had no power over me even before I was healed. I tried to obey, but in the moment, I just didn't understand. But I do today. 🤍

What He asked of me required wisdom, strength, courage and a greater measure of Him that I wasn't given yet. A heart that has trusted Him with everything is that confident in Him. I didn't know how to be free of something He did not take away yet.

He picked me up and carried me the rest of the way. I wept because I didn't know how to do what He said. He said, I love your heart, for it is given to Me. In that moment, He taught me to stand as He desires me to stand, with a heart filled with His will because it was filled with Him.

Now, I know what you are thinking. Anybody would say what you are about to say. Command it to go, cast it down and quote a scripture saying it is God's will to heal. Take what is yours. A prevalent teaching today. But the Bible doesn't teach us to receive our own will. It teaches us to call Him Lord and trust in Him.

As you are in His presence, you surrender your heart to Him. If your heart had a posture, it would be bowed. HE is Lord of your heart and your life, for He gives you your life. HE is Lord of where you are, and what you have in His presence is His will. That is something HE gives you and in His presence, you abide.

It is that abiding in His presence that is worth my life and I gladly lay down all at His feet to call Him Lord and be with Him. He heals my heart and brings me into His arms, and nothing in the physical realm stands in His way. THAT is the healing that He promised us. It is not about the flesh, does not answer to the flesh, is not limited by the flesh, but walks above the things of the flesh.

He said He isn't done, that as we surrender our heart it is only the beginning of all He has planned for us. For those of us who wait in Him, Glory is at hand.

Your Throne, O God

By Kathy Mote

‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; righteousness is the order of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;

'You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain; and they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak you will fold them up, and they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will not fail’. He said to Him, ‘Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.’

Hebrews 1

Everything in all His creation will honor Him as Lord. His enemies are the fear and pride in every heart that does not know Him and therefore cannot honor Him as Lord. That is what God will bring to an end, so that every eye will see Christ's face, and every heart will know Him as Lord that they might be filled. He is mighty to pull down the strong holds and bring our hearts to Him.
