FIRE BY NIGHT
"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
WHEN SITUATIONS ARISE WHEREIN WE ARE CALLED TO "FORGIVE"
Words of prophecy:
* One of the key elements of one "abiding" [dwelling] in the place of being continually cleansed from ALL defilement of flesh and spirit
is for them to hold absolutely NO unforgiveness [resentment, bitterness, offense] in their heart.
...."let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates
and defiles body and spirit, and bring [our] consecration to completeness in the [reverential] fear of God".... 2 Corinthians 7:1 The Amplified Translation
[God's love in us] does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]".... 1 Corinthians 13:5 The Amplified
When situations arise wherein we are called to "forgive" [remain in Love] it is VERY important that we immediately make a "concerted" effort to enter
into the Presence of God [the "inner chamber"] - and, also, affix our eyes to the "revelation" that He has blessed us with through the years.
In times of this
type of turmoil [guarding against taking offense at something said or done to us] it is certain that it is ONLY the Word [Wisdom] of God and the loving Presence of the Father that will both see us through and take us up to [and keep us in] the "high place"
[the spiritual position from which the Love-walk is maintained - and, also a place of refuge from the storm], FAR ABOVE the vile schemes of the Evil One.
He [the Father] raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus [the Messiah, the Anointed One]".... Ephesians 2:6 The Amplified Translation
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank You and praise You that You have raised us up a people who are quick to forgive
- a people who seek to honor the precious Blood of Jesus at ALL times. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis], in the Name of Jesus - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
