As I Waited On The Lord

As I waited on the Lord, desiring the comfort I enjoy when I hear His
voice, He said, I know what I am doing in your heart. So, as I continued to wait, I realized what I waited for was not what I had yesterday, but what He would give. He does not lead me into what I had before.
He
does not lead me into the intimacy that I want. What I will have as He leads me today is the intimacy He desires with me, even as I seek His face. I thought I would share, because there is a difference, a subtle shift that seems pretty important now that it
is seen. It is knowing who leads.

Don’t Argue With
People

Don't argue with people who don't know what you are saying. The people who argue don't hear Him.

Without
Being

Without being in the Lord's presence, we cannot hear or see Him. We often misunderstand His intentions and what
is in His heart because we only accept and embrace and consider our own heart instead of knowing and hearing Him.
We assume we understand His will because we measure Him by our understanding of His written promise to bring
us to Life. This is not a carnal promise, and you won't receive what He DID promise you until you are in His presence, calling Him Lord with a respectful and open heart, able to hear and see Him. His presence is what He promised.
In His presence you will have no need left, for by His presence, you and everything concerning you is as He says. In His presence, He tenderly cares for you and He powerfully provides. In His presence is the order and comfort of abundant Life. In
His presence, He has His way in your heart and your life.
People have a filter on what they believe, and it is what they are able to understand. In operating like this, they cover their eyes and ears as they protect their heart from
Him. They assume what is good (and therefore what is God) by their opinion, and their opinion is based on what their heart can hold or understand. But this isn't Him and this isn't knowing Him.
So this
is why He tells us not to lean to our understanding as we trust in Him. When we lean to our own understanding, we understand our own thoughts and our own heart, but we do not understand Him.
Receiving
the promise that HE intends to fulfill is living a surrendered life. For only when you give your life to Him do you accept His Life, which was given for you. And, only when you give your heart to Him do you hear what is in His heart for you.

Surrendering Your Heart

Surrendering your heart to Him is something you can only do in His
presence. That is the one place where the devil is of no concern.

The
Lord Said

The Lord said, “I will shake everything that can be shaken. I will rain fire down from Heaven so that
everything will be shaken.”
This includes those who declare themselves to be of Him, for declaring yourself is not of Him.
The only ones that
cannot be shaken are those who are the work of His hands, for those He has declared Himself in, and they are of Him. They will never be shaken.
The Lord said the day will come when people will rush to
surrender their heart to Him, begging Him to take them that they might be of Him. They will come to Him in the midst of a great fire that burns all around them, threatening to consume them. That great fire is how they will come to Him.
