The Heart of Heaven

I’m going to make it simple and clear….

The “Heart of Heaven” waits for you, lights the pathway home for you with beams of hope, placed in front of your New Year’s journey.

You can’t earn this. You can’t buy it.

You can’t clean up enough or be good enough to obtain it.

How do you reach out to Heaven? How deep of an emotional trust does it take to hope that you “matter”?

Do you have to “prove something” to get heaven to reach back to you?

The human heart aches for reassurance and to know what genuine love really is. It longs for some kind of a “divine acknowledgment” that they are of value, that they have a purpose for existing.

Dear friends. We live in a noisy, dirty, and confusing world. Voices shout to us to work harder at pleasing God, other voices say that He is nonexistent or at best, too esoteric to reach out to for help.

It takes one simple event.

Turn your thoughts and fears and self judgments away and lift your face and heart upwards.

Ask the Father in heaven to open your eyes to see His love for you. Ask Him to explain to you why Jesus would love you and take a death sentence for you.

There is only one real requirement as you do this.

You must come towards heaven with a humble attitude, and a reverence.

“An earthly father expresses love for his children; it is no different with our heavenly Father; The Eternal One shows His love for those who revere Him.” Psalm 103:13.

This is not some formula or test.

But the soul of man (your mind, will, and emotions) will try to talk you out of being like a child and reaching outward, (much like learning to walk).

Go ahead…. Risk it.

That’s called having faith… A simple trust … In the ONE who is there waiting to catch you.

“If you do not believe when I talk to you about ordinary, earthly realities, then heavenly realities will certainly elude you.” John 3:12.

How do we touch heaven?

We lay our will down.

We risk our fear of disappointment.

We reach out.

And I promise you…

…When you say to Heaven, “Help me O God… I need you, show me who you really are, and what my life is supposed to look like while I’m here”.

I promise you… You will touch heaven… because heaven will reach out, arms opened wide, to touch…

…you.

“Yes. You can Measure how high heaven is above the earth; God’s wide, loving, kind heart is opened and greater for those who reverence Him.” Psalm 103:11.
