"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

I saw a "polluted" river [it was a "counterfeit" of the river of Life] with many people in it - some up to their ankles, some up to their knees, waist, neck and so on. Pretty soon they were all "over their head". The "current" of the river was pulling people "sharply" downward.

The Father spoke to me and said

The "polluted river" is representative of the flow of the "world" [the present world-system] - and the great "currents of darkness" therein.

The "people" in the vision are representative of those who have strayed from the paths of righteousness - those who have wilfully allowed "self" to remain on the throne of their heart to varying degrees.

The fact that, ultimately, they were all "over their head" is representative of the spiritual truth that "a little leaven [in this case the leaven of unrighteousness]leavens the "whole loaf" [if not repented of].

The fact that the "current" was pulling them sharply downward is representative of the ever increasing darkness that is, even now, beginning to  overtake all those whose heart and eyes are on the things below rather than the "things above".

Truly I say to you, it will take faith [an absolute trust in Me] for all those who have strayed from the paths of righteousness to "rise above" this negative river in this most critical hour!

...."For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you".... Isaiah 60:2 NASB

...."Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever".... 1 John 2:15-17 NASB

...."A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough".... Galatians 5:9 NASB

...."The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness. If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays".... Luke 11:34-36 NASB

...."Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God".... Colossians 3:1-3  NASB

Prayer of Proclamation:

Father, we thank You and praise You that You have raised us up a people of faith - a people who trust in You and Your Word with all of our heart. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis], in the Name of Jesus - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
