Reading
About the Pharisees
By Kathy Mote
Reading about the Pharisees didn't teach me that I understand almost nothing until I hear His voice,
hearing His voice taught me that. I know nothing but what He says. There is more to Him than we can fathom. Never again will I look at the One who loves me as something I can learn by reading of Him. I will forever be content in His presence, where Life and
love and healing is revealed to me by Him.

Yesterday
By Kathy Mote
Yesterday something came to me, and I immediately shut it down, thinking it would dishonor what the
Lord wanted me to think. He had not previously spoken such a thing to me and I didn't want to take my own thought and run with it.
But over and over, it came back to me, and in a vision, I saw the Lord
pick me up as if I were an infant, and gently jostle me awake. I was determined to shut my eyes to the questions running through my mind when He said, “Why do you think this is you, and not Me trying to show you something.”
Lesson learned, trust and surrender, but do not judge what He says. Do not be what you think He wants, trust Him to teach you what He wants. As you judge what He says, you shut the Lord down. So I opened my eyes, and there it was again, a very valid
question in my mind.
The question that keeps coming to me is, why do we always try to refer to ancient history to define what God is saying or doing in our time? What God is doing today is not the same
thing, for it's not the same day.
I'm not talking about promises of deliverance or the tenets of spiritual truth, or the beauty of walking with Him. I am talking about assuming what God did seven thousand
years ago has anything to do with what He is doing today.
We act like God can only repeat what He has already done. We act like history is playing out again. We find scripture to define what is happening
today. We also assume we have to believe something for it to be so. What we are doing is assuming He is limited to what we know.
Many things God has promised to do He is not done yet, and there are far
more things that have yet to be revealed than what we understand. The Lord said that nearly all the things He promised have not been revealed and won't be until Christ comes again.
Because we are trying
to interpret scripture instead of listening to Him we are missing the point of what is written, and we are missing Him.
We will not limit our ability to see what God is doing today if we stop thinking
God is limited to what we already know and understand of Him. He is not doing again what happened in the past. You would be surprised to realize what 'day' we are in!
Let us look to the Living God and
stop considering our understanding of the Bible to be above Him. The Bible is a record of His dealings with us and of His promises to us, which He is faithful to fulfill. But how will we receive what He is doing if we don't receive Him?
We are not to repeat the lesson the Pharisees learned in their day. They rejected Him because He didn't measure up to what they assumed while reading the scriptures promising Him. They missed what God was doing in their day because they chose to
respect their own thoughts even though He was standing right in front of them.

The Lord Said
By Kathy Mote
The Lord said that in our heart, as far as we can understand, trust and love are nearly the same thing. As we are more aware of Him,
trust is our response to His love being revealed. His love is something our heart cannot contain. His presence heals our heart and changes our mind as He brings us to Him. This is one thing that I do know, He is gentle and He deals with our hearts as one would
raise a tender plant. All that He says and all that He does teaches us exquisite balance between respect and love.

What The Lord Is Releasing
By Kathy Mote
What the Lord is releasing into the Earth will be like the one smooth
stone that felled Goliath was to him. It will stun all who stand against Him, and silence them, bringing their hearts before Him. It is the knowledge of Him as He truly is, and it will change everything. It will change everyone's thinking. It will cause a
revival unlike any that has ever been seen, and many, many will come to Him.

The Lord Will Not Tell
Us
By Kathy Mote
The Lord will not tell us what we already know. In truth, until He reveals His heart to us, we know nothing. But oh,
when He does reveal His heart, that is the Truth of His presence that we live in.
