What You Can Know

By Kathy Mote

What you can know in your heart as He brings Life to you by His presence is not the same as what you can see in your mind. We don't know Him in our head, we know Him in our heart. Words you read paint pictures in your mind, but your thoughts are limited to what you can imagine. Imagining is not knowing.

The Lord has been preparing us to know Him in a more deeply intimate way. We will know His presence in our hearts in a way we have never known, and seeing Him will rip the lid off of what we have previously only imagined. What is seen in our mind will be replaced with the Living Truth of Him as we are brought into His presence. We will live in the reality of knowing Him that cannot be fathomed.

Do Not Think

By Kathy Mote

Do not think people's behavior is strange. If you could see what God is challenging in their heart, their behavior would make perfect sense. There's a lot of refining going on, even in those who don't know Him, and rising to the surface are many things. The intentions hidden deep in every heart will be seen.

We don't judge the same way the Lord does. We don't judge by His righteousness in their heart. What this means is He judges and measures their need for Him, and He is coming to them. He measures us by what He has put in our heart, and by His presence in us. This is something He does. This is what causes our response to Him, and He is refining us.

He said everything will be shaken that can be shaken, and this is what it looks like. It is not what we thought. We can never imagine the enormity of what He means until He is done and we see it finished before our eyes. This move of His Spirit will be world-wide. He is preparing us and He has only just begun. Be blessed as you trust in Him, for one who cannot be shaken trusts!
