There Is No Struggle

By Kathy Mote

There is no struggle in surrender. For one who struggles to have faith, this is something to remember.

I Would Like To Share

By Kathy Mote

I would like to share something that will turn the tide in many battles. You don't need to fight to see His will come to pass. Christ's Lordship is the currency of Heaven.

Faith is Jesus, working in your heart. Faith is Him bringing His will to pass in your life. Being Spirit filled, His Spirit will lead you to HIM to trust Him in all things. As you trust He is Lord, you will be filled with peace.

HE is who we believe, and trusting Him means trusting His will. Now that is faith working in us as we trust He will accomplish His will. Faith, which is His presence in us, makes us confident in Him. We have a secure heart in His presence because we belong to Him.

So many of us don't realize He is creating His image in us. We don't have the kind of faith that creates, HE does. What we have is HIM. Just as it was His faith that created the heavens and the Earth, it is HIS faith working in us bringing us to Him. It is His faith working in us as His Spirit leads us to Him. It is His will being accomplished that we trust in Him.

Yet, we have 'acted on' what we have read instead of trusting Him to bring His own Word to pass. We have behaved as though faith is trusting what we choose to believe, and believing what we pray. We don't understand Life enough to do that! That's not the same thing as His faith working in us to give us Life, which He is Lord of.

His presence brings perfect order to us, and the Truth is, it is HIS faith that is bringing all things into perfect order by bringing them to Him. His faith in what He is doing in us is the evidence of things to come, and as we call Him LORD, He will fill us with all the fullness of His love.

The Lord Has Taught Me

By Kathy Mote

The Lord has taught me levels of trust, and each is based on His heart revealed to my heart. The deeper in my heart His love for me is revealed, the deeper my trust in Him. But one day He asked me to surrender my will in an area of my life that I was facing great threat against. I didn't know how things would go.

I was disappointed in myself that I was afraid. He asked me what I would do with myself next, as if I were the work of my own hands. Before I could feel any worse about the shape my heart was in, He said, I want you to trust that I am good! You are not making you as I AM, I AM making you as I am!

Still, it was a battle to abandon my fear, until He showed me, that's not how to overcome! He said, Trust Me and know I AM good. So this is what I know in my heart now, that trust is surrender is knowing He is good and that leads to resting in Him. That is the deepest faith there is.

In our heart, trust and surrender are nearly the same thing. They are our heart's response to knowing Him. He heals our heart as His love for us is revealed. One thing I learned, though. Surrender is key. You can trust He is good to give you your own way, or you can know He is good and trust HIS way. Surrender calls HIM Lord of our heart and keeps us from being spoiled and having a spoiled heart.

Many things in my life that are surrendered are not taken away, but they have been surrendered to Him because He asked for them. Now they are HIS to protect and command. They will go HIS way, accomplishing His will in my heart and in my life. This keeps my heart continually before Him, for as I surrender my heart to Him, it is His to Live in and to protect.

There Is Something

By Kathy Mote

There is something I learned that I would like to share. It came to me during worship as a revelation from Him. Whatever is not given to Him, and surrendered to Him, whatever is not of Him is about me, and not Him. This is not to condemn, but to lead us to Him. All that He does in my heart keeps my heart before Him.

With all of my heart, I want to thank Him.

What We Have

By Kathy Mote

What we have without being brought into His presence is our own thoughts and our own reactive response to what is happening. What our heart expresses is what our heart is limited to and what our heart is made of. We call it common sense thinking. He calls it not seeking Him. It is unintentional arrogance to be unaware of Him. But we are called to Him.

He is Lord and His ways are higher. He is Creator, and we are His creation. If we want to honor Him and be changed by Him to learn and walk in the way of His heart, then we should continually seek Him. That is why the Holy Spirit was given to us, to lead our heart to Him in all respect. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is a promise of things to come.
