Last Night I Wept

By Kathy Mote

Last night I wept, knowing in my heart I am not brave. I know the things I must face. He asked me if I wanted to be brave. As He said this, He stood with His arms open wide to take me into His embrace. I ran to Him. He said, You do not have to be brave. Trust Me instead.

The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said you were born for such a time as this, which is why He has prepared your heart for such a time as this. He has taken all the glamor out of it to train your heart to stay with Him, for trial upon trial has besieged your heart until all you long for is Him.

It isn't that your life is so much worse than it would have been if you were called to a different time than this. At the end of all things, you will see that everyone is called to stand before Him. Him calling you into His presence to receive the healing He gives has revealed His presence in your heart and life. When they see Him, this will be what everyone will desire.

You are not like those who lived a thousand years ago. In fact, your heart has been called to Him unlike any other generation has because you will see His face and know His heart like no other generation has. You have walked with Him through the desert as He prepared your heart for the glory to come.

So you have been humbled, and all the trials that plagued you have taught you the same strength and selflessness that giving birth would have. Your life being as it is has emptied you of the silliness that most people walk in. He has taught you to remain before Him like very few will, and as difficult as it has been, you are a rare beauty in His eyes because your eyes behold Him. He adores your heart. It is filled with devotion to Him.

I Stand

By Kathy Mote

I stand in the presence of the living God, and in Him do I trust. Someone needs to hear this, and say this, and be encouraged.

When The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

When the Lord said He forgave us our sins, they wrote it in the Bible. That was the extent of what He revealed of His heart to us then. We have been waiting for Him since then to return for us.

We expressed our gratitude from the perspective of being forgiven for acts committed that were against God's nature and character by accepting Christ, and in Christ we were loved and accepted by Him. That was the extent of our understanding.

We have come to understand recently that He is working in us, and those of us who have been brought to stand before Him have learned to remain in His presence regardless of happy or sad circumstance.

Now as God's face is being revealed, (He said it is time) we understand more of His perspective. We see that what He is doing is removing all that would keep us out of His presence from our character and nature as He fills us. Emphasis is now on what He does in us rather than what we are saying and doing or what rules we follow.

What He is doing in all of us is being revealed from His perspective, that He is not only forgiving our shortcomings and weaknesses without Him, He is filling us with the fullness of His character and nature. He is revealing His love for us.

This is our healing, and what makes us whole, to be brought into His presence to intimately and personally know Him. We are filled with the desires of His heart to express His nature and character as He interacts with us.

He said His ways are higher than ours and so are His thoughts above ours also. As He reveals what He is doing in us, He reveals His plan and desire to gather us into His arms and fill us, having healed us of all that would keep us from Him. As hard as it is for our human minds to grasp, He said He is still creating us and that He will raise us.

So for all of eternity, there will be nothing in us that is not of Him, and He is perfect. What He does in us is perfect. It isn't what we say or do that makes us of Him, but as He fills us with His love, His character and His nature, His work in us is perfect.

I asked Him once why He didn't reveal His face and all of His intentions from the beginning. He said He didn't mean for us to understand Him to take our place in His heart, but for us to give Him our heart and trust Him.

He also said that all of His creation is 'one' and we all have our place and time to grow up before Him in it. He carefully tends us. He said as the last of His children receive His work in their heart, so the first generation will be changed and raised also, that we might all be one with Him. We are one who is of His heart, sharing one Life with Him as He fills our heart, as devoted to Him as He is to us.

The Lord Showed Me

By Kathy Mote

The Lord showed me what He is doing in my heart and He changed me in an instant. Several revelations of Him were made known to me all at once, and it all overwhelmed me. I didn't know how to handle it. I realized that knowing of Him is not the same as knowing Him. He is redefining our relationship with Him.

In a vision, I saw me standing before His throne, waiting to obey Him. I said in my heart, I want to honor You. He said, You cannot honor Me, you can obey Me. I found this very humbling, but my heart learned something of Him and who I am to Him as He said this. He is God, and He is my Father, but I only see what He desires me to see of Him. I can only know Him by what is revealed of Him.

He scooped me up like the small child I am to Him, and He gave me a kiss on my cheek, but I scrambled back down to stand before Him. He asked if I didn't want to be in His arms and receive such affection.

Again I warred with my desire to do what He called me to do, and I thought that honored Him. He told me that being brought into His presence is His doing as He raises us. He deepened my perspective of what He is doing in us.

He said the desire to know His love is the core of what He is doing in us as He raises us and brings us before Him to know Him. He is the initiator as He brings us before Him and we wait on Him. It is the work of His own hands in us that honors Him, and that is His presence.

That kiss He gave me is the deepest revelation of His heart I have ever had. It changed how I stand before Him. He left no doubt in my heart that He is creating His heart's desire in us.
