"People Get Ready - There's a Glory
Train Coming!"
By Alice Garza
Many people have been experiencing hope deferred these days. As Believers,
we were never called to live in that place.
"Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the
commandment shall be rewarded. The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death." (Proverbs 13:12-14 King James Version)
I saw in the spirit that people were getting weary
and tired, and some thought God did not hear their prayers. Just because the outcome of something does not look like what we expected, does not mean that He didn't hear our prayers. Prayer warriors, we must stay at our posts as the watchmen on the wall in
prayer. Our prayers are so important right now in the Body of Christ.
Charge!
In the old days, when in war, there was a time that someone would yell,
"Charge!" "A charge is an offensive maneuver in battle in which combatants advance towards their enemy at their best speed in an attempt to engage in a decisive, close combat. The charge is the dominant shock attack and has been the key tactic and decisive
moment of many battles throughout history" (Wikipedia).
Now is the time to raise our battle cry and move forward in taking more land for the Kingdom of God. We cannot give up or go backward; this is a
time of moving forward. We must ask God for the fresh oil from Heaven which brings us joy and strength.
"You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil
of gladness more than Your companions." (Psalm 45:7)
"...[T]he joy of the Lord is your strength." (Nehemiah shared this in a time of restoration and rebuilding.) (Nehemiah 8:10)
I was in prayer one night while in my kitchen. This song came on randomly—one that I had not heard in a long time. It was called "People Get Ready" by Curtis Mayfield:
People get ready
There's a train a-comin'
You don't need no baggage
You just get on board
All you need is faith
To hear the diesels hummin'
Don't
need no ticket
You just thank the Lord...
"People Get Ready" was released during a time of civil unrest in America. I knew the Lord was speaking so loudly. I felt joy and hope come
into the room. (Photo of Curtis Mayfield via snl.no)
The Glory Train
I began to think about the revelation Bob Jones had released years ago about
the "Glory Train." So that my spirit could catch the importance of what he spoke, I listened to it many times. He said that when the Glory Train comes it is not going to be about one ministry or one person, and that we will need to have humility in our hearts
when this occurs. I believe we are in a time of purification in the Body of Christ.
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8)
"Purge
me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow." (Psalm 51:7 New King James Version)
One of the main things I see getting ready to take place with this coming glory is John
14:13, "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." This coming glory will carry greater signs and wonders than you have ever seen before.
We will do
even greater things than Christ did, because He's gone to the Father and made it possible for us to do this. This coming glory is to glorify one thing; it's to glorify the Father. This is why the Lord has been dealing with our spirit man (our conscience) all
these years, to bring us to a place where we won't sell out to the world, but will glorify the Father in everything that we do.
The movement of the Holy Spirit is going to bring glory to God and only to
God. We are in a very exciting time! Hallelujah!
The other day, we were at a restaurant that had a rope you could pull to tell the establishment that they had done a good job. As I pulled that rope down,
it made the sound of a train whistle blowing. I have never seen nor heard one like that before. I just knew it was the Lord, and I began to smile and giggle to myself and felt the joy of the Lord. I believe the Lord is saying, "You're doing a good job, Body
of Christ." I began to think of this Scripture and how He will never stop interceding for us:
"Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right
hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us." (Romans 8:34 King James Version)
Heavenly Assistance at the Gates
Three years ago, when we had
first moved to Ohio, I was praying in our prayer room at the church. I began to see gates. At first I thought they were the gates of Ohio, but recently I have realized they were not only for Ohio, but for our nation.
I could see the army of the enemy. There were many demonic creatures walking toward the gates; they were on a mission to take over the gates. Just as they were about to get to the gates and take over, these mighty angels from Heaven arrived. The
enemy's army had to abruptly halt as they were unable to move forward any longer. The angels began to close the gates immediately and take charge over them. I began to see the angels bringing the needed coverage to these gates, restoring them back to their
original closures and causing them to be secure again. Then, suddenly, I began to see the enemy's army disappear.
"For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands
they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone." (Psalm 91:11-12 New King James Version)
"Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory
shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He
is the King of glory. Selah." (Psalm 24:7-10 King James Version)(Photo via Snappy Goat)
Remaining in the Peace and Rest of the Lord
In an encounter
one day, I was in this room where everything was white. There was only one chair in the room for me to sit on; there was also a door. I was excited in my spirit because I could feel something great was on the other side of that door, but I couldn't just go
and pry it open.
As I sat in this room, which looked like a waiting room from a hospital, I felt in my spirit I was just to sit and wait there. All of a sudden, things began to come into my spirit [instructing
me] on what and how to pray. I began to intercede for whatever I was told by Holy Spirit. Suddenly, I began to hear the Lord's voice, and He said, "Because you have waited on Me, you can come see what's on the other side of that door." I was like a child waiting
on a surprise from the Lord.
Our waiting in His presence and staying in prayer will open the door that only He can open. People get ready! By remaining in His peace and rest, the door that only He can
open will open!
"...And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast
strengthened me." (Daniel 10:19 King James Version)
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the
world." (John 16:33)
"I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." (Psalm 4:8 New King James Version)
People
get ready! Jesus is coming! He's coming with a whole army of light. We are that army of light. So rise up, sons and daughters of the Most High. All of darkness will run and hide from the one and only King of all kings!
