Your Strength in Weakness

By Deborah Waldron Fry

I saw an OX in the Spirit and heard, “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong!'”

Our Father is highlighting this for you who are struggling today in any circumstance. The ox is one of the manifestations, facets, or faces of Christ and represents DIVINE STRENGTH.

There are four faces of the Living Creatures before the throne of God and of Christ according to Ezekiel, Revelation, and even to the description of the four Gospels of Jesus Christ.

The four gospels represent Jesus as: Matthew: LION; Mark: OX; Luke: MAN; John: EAGLE.

Jesus, as the OX is represented as the Suffering Servant, the One who comes to be your Strength when you are weak.

He is your Burden Bearer, Child of God, so cast ALL your cares at His feet. Release ALL your burdens to Him today.

“Beloved. I AM the Ox for you. I AM your STRENGTH when you are weak. I AM He who strengthens the weak hands and makes firm the feeble knees.

I AM He who sacrificed everything so that you are forgiven and made righteous. I carried ALL your sickness and disease, your depression and oppression, your lack, all of your cares.

All of your burdens I have carried for you, My Child. I AM the Burden Bearer. Yoke yourself to Me and I will help you, guide you and teach you.

I will give you rest and restore your soul. For I AM always working for you, Beloved.

I AM gentle and humble at heart. My Grace is sufficient for you: for My Strength is made perfect in weakness.

You shall endure, My Child. We are bound together by the Spirit of God. No longer do you have to struggle along on your own.

You have this Treasure in earthen vessels to show that this surpassingly great Power is from God and not of yourself.

Though you are hard pressed on all sides, you shall not be crushed; you may be perplexed, but you shall no longer despair; you may be persecuted, but you shall NOT be forsaken; though the enemy attempts to strike you down, you shall NOT be destroyed.

Oh no, Beloved. The STRENGTH of the OX is working for you! I came as the Suffering Servant to take upon Myself your weaknesses so that you could be STRONG in Me.

There is Beauty even in the Ox, Dear One, for it represents the finished WORK of the Cross. Lean on Me as We walk side by side.

I AM He who increases you, My Child. There is MUCH INCREASE coming to you by My Strength.

Be STRONG in the Lord and in the POWER of MY Might. You have been sanctified forever by My Sacrifice, Beloved, by the Blood and the Body of Jesus Christ.

So come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. We are yoked together by bands of Love. Therefore, let the weak say, “I am strong!”

OX: The Suffering Servant: Sacrifice, Sin Bearer, Burden Bearer; firmness, endurance, strength.; Harvest.

Only certain “clean” land animals were allowed for sacrifice: oxen were one of those. It’s important to note that animal sacrifices for sin provided only temporary relief. The people had to keep repeating these sacrifices. More than any other element in the wilderness tabernacle, the offerings pointed to the coming Savior, Jesus Christ. He was spotless, without sin, the only fitting sacrifice for humanity’s transgressions against God.

“Where no oxen are, the rough (storehouse, manger, trough) is clean (empty); but much increase comes by the strength of an ox.” Proverbs 14:4.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.

“And He said unto me, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”2 Corinthians 12:9.

“When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until His enemies should be made a footstool for His feet. For by a SINGLE OFFERING He has PERFECTED FOR ALL TIME those who are being sanctified.” Hebrews 10:8-14.

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.”2 Corinthians 4:6-8.

“Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees.” Isaiah 35:3.

“For in Christ all the FULLNESS of the Deity dwells in bodily form. And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.” Colossians 2:9-10.

“Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like an OX, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.” Revelation 4:6-7.

“As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an OX on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.” Ezekiel 1:10.
