My Spirits Sagged
By Kathy Mote
Recently my spirits sagged. Looking back, I realize it was part of His process to bring me up. He emptied
me of thinking and assumptions that did not reflect His heart. As He taught my heart to follow Him more closely, my mood improved. But in the process, I was not joyful, I was tired.
I said, I'm tired of
living. He said, How could you be tired of living when I have filled you with abundant, burgeoning Life? That Life will literally overcome in you and cause you to overcome! There is freedom in the Life I give. I am simply teaching you to walk in it!
Walking in the Spirit is to respond to the Lord's heart. This is not done in the flesh, it is done in His presence. As the Lord leads you to trust Him, you go deeper into the ways of the Father's heart. You are becoming
what He created you to be. He changes your heart as He brings you into His presence. When you see Him, HE is who you are walking with. Your responses are to Him.
What He is leading us to walk in is our
Father's desire, which is for us to be in Christ. We are leaving our carnal ways behind, and walking in His Spirit. Carnal ways don't follow Him, they acknowledge, agree with and follow the flesh. The first step we take as we see Him is to trust Him. Then
we unburden our heart by trusting His will.
He is bringing us more deeply to His heart, and trust is our response. This means we don't worry or strive when things threaten to become uncomfortable. Letting
go of fear is a choice, but we are free of fear as we trust. The key is fellowship with Him. It is the sweet healing of our heart. Surrender allows us to go to a place in Him that is sweeter than anything imagined so far.
But as the saying goes, that first step is a doozey, and let me tell you why. The deeper into His presence we are called to live, the deeper we surrender our heart to come. This is our first step in learning to walk in our Father's heart, and our
response is to Him, not the circumstance we are in. This is something only learned in the fire.
As He brings us closer to Him, we know Him face to face as Lord. This leaves no worry in us, and no carnal
thought or response. The first step into glory is having a surrendered heart. When we have learned this, He will teach us what's next.

I frequently lament that the deepest and most moving revelations of the Lord's heart are often the
least responded to as I release them. Recently the Lord corrected my thinking.
As I lamented over people's response recently, wanting more people to hear His message and be brought to Him, the Lord spoke
to me and appeared to me in a vision.
He said, You don't understand how this works. Here, come stand with me and let me show you something. As He spoke, the veil that separates Heaven from Earth came from
His mouth in tiny shining bits of light that glittered. I have seen the veil. It looks like thousands of tiny suns that form a living wall or curtain, all swirling together, shimmering and glistening. It moves with life and if you are quiet, you can hear what
sounds like tiny cymbals made of crystal.
Anyway, that is what the veil between Heaven and Earth looks and sounds like. The Light of it floated out of the Lord's mouth as He spoke His love and His
will for us. As the tiny lights went out from Him, they glowed and shimmered as they moved into the atmosphere, bringing Light to where they went.
As I watched, the Light went everywhere, lighting up the
atmosphere, and people were drawn to the Light to hear Him. They were not drawn to my post, but to the sound of His voice, and then they were drawn to look to Him.
So this is what I learned, that as we
obey Him we flow in Him, and the message He speaks to us revealing His heart goes everywhere. It is our limited thinking that people have to hear us. As His Spirit takes His Word abroad, we stand and rejoice with Him, and His Spirit quickens the listeners!
The Lord Has
By Kathy Mote
The Lord has been revealing something to me, but I can barely find the words to describe it. He showed
me the depth of the enemy's hatred for us, and I cannot abide it. I suppressed the urge to fight back, refusing to defend myself in the Lord's presence. I remembered the Lord told me He has us safe on the palm of His hand.
My heart sank just realizing the possibilities as I saw what was unfolding before me today. There is no way to justify current events. They are beyond reason and our heart shrinks away. I see 'Hayman's gallows', and I fervently pray he is the one
who hangs on them.
But as I stood before the Lord, it wasn't that simple. What the Lord is doing is huge. The surrender He required of me to stand before Him is how I will remain hidden in Him. Realizing
He is bringing about His will was my comfort and peace. Total surrender is how to remain in His presence, knowing He is Lord of all things.
Surrender doesn't look at the enemy and it doesn't consider defeat.
Total surrender is the expression of total trust, abiding in the Lord's arms. Total surrender trusts like a child, something only warriors have the courage to do. Total surrender guarantees rejoicing, declaring He is faithful who is Lord of all. Jesus is not
fighting the devil, He is shaking him and He is rattling his bones.
The Problem With Our Perspective
By Kathy Mote
The problem with our perspective is that it's too narrow. It is limited to what we see of our life on this Earth. What we don't see
is His purpose in creating us. We don't yet see the end of what He is doing in us, or what things will be like. That's not about the Earth or the things of this Earth. Our perspective will change upon seeing Him. Then we will see what He's done!

To Be In His Presence
By Kathy Mote
To be in His presence is the point of our life. In His presence is Life,
and we give Him our life to be in His presence. This is the essence of calling Him Lord, and we call Him Lord for no other reason than to gain Him. I have a question for all who look at what is going on in the world, and have hopes for His will coming to Earth.
Is there more than His will coming to us?
You can answer when you know what His will is. His will is to be glorified in us. What that means is His glory will fill us. Rather than being worried about the
circumstance we are in, let us realize what He is doing in us as we are in them! He created all things as a place to raise us. Let us focus on being raised by Him.
