There Is a Price for Effectiveness

Have you ever seen the original Disney movie called “Cinderella”?
Can you remember Cinderella’ sisters trying to put on her glass slipper? Cinderella
was a lowly cleaning girl in a rich house having to do all the chores, all the washing of hard floors, and everything else involved with maintaining what looked like a castle in the cartoon feature.
One
day a princely gentleman was looking for a lady to take to a Ball. The only stipulation was that the chosen lady had to wear the elegant glass slippers he had brought with him.
Try as they might, the older
sisters just had to be the “chosen one” for the handsome gentleman. So they pretty much fought each other to be first to try them on.
One sister was more portly than the other so the slippers
were way too tight for her feet. The other sister was tall and very thin and had longer, thinner feet.
As the cartoon character that she was, she forces the slipper on one foot, bending, folding her foot
so tightly that the slipper sprung off her foot.
Then the gentleman saw Cinderella. He asked her to try on the glass slippers, and Lo and Behold, he found his lady to take to the Ball.
We all have a calling that God has given that uniquely fits us. We may see people living out the call of God upon their lives that the flow of the anointing uniquely fits that person. This is because that person paid the price for the call’s
effectiveness.
That person spent the time with The LORD that opened his heart and mind for revelation to take place.
Revelation is your portion that
will effectively manifest the true calling You can say that “nothing is too hard for God” all you want, but without the anointing that follows the price of the time spent in His Presence, you are going to be very lost, very disappointed and very
disillusioned.
Your adversary, the devil roams about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He will use whatever tactics that had been effective against you to prevent your success.
He will send discouraging people into your life to dilute your ability to hear what The LORD has been showing you in the Spirit.
When you finally come to the point
of realizing just how much you have been missing, because the liar had his way with you for so long, the revelation that is to be your portion is going to be very much worth fighting for.
“For the
weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God; bring every thought to the obedience of Christ”. 2 Corinthians
10:4-5.
By their fruit you will know them. Do the work. Seek The LORD while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near.
Nothing else will work.
Do what it takes for your calling. There is a price for effectiveness, but there is also the price for disobedience.
How will you want to be known?
“Call
upon Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you don’t know.” Jeremiah 33:3.
Revelation will be your portion. For the people who do know their God shall be strong,
and take action.
