Dream:
Your New Journey
By Beverly Juelsgaard-Fischer
Dream
I’m in a building.
I see a man in a room, sitting on a stool bent over someone’s feet, as they stand before him.
He looks like a shoemaker of old, pants that stop under the knee with a fabric tie at the outside of
the leg, so their width can be adjusted a little.
He wears a small brown cap, a white shirt with an open collar, and a short vest, that’s open. He has a measuring tape hanging around his neck, and
wears glasses at the end of his nose.
He appears to be late 50’s — 60’s, a few gray strands in brown hair softly curled over his ears.
He’s
bent over someone’s feet, measuring them with his tape measure, how wide and long. He tells the person to sit before him and then he says something and a young person, an apprentice, brings a pair of shoes that appear to be white rubber on the bottom.
Each shoe has a white wing / broad strap on either side of the broadest part of their foot. He pulls one wing over the foot, measures and rearranges the foot on the foot bed.
Then he pulls the other wing across the fullest part of the foot. He’s very exact or precise in placing it on the foot. He’s also very careful in placing one wing over the other.
He
makes slight adjustments to where the foot is placed on the footbed again. The shoemaker looks up at the person and says, “There, it’s done.”
The person smiles.
The shoemaker looks down at the feet, put his hands over the ‘wings’, which then seem to melt together, like they were formed that way.
When the person looks down at their feet,
they see whatever kind of shoe they wanted, whether it is 6” stilettos, cowboy boots, ballet shoes, dress shoes, or whatever. They see what they wanted and are so excited to have new shoes.
But the
shoemaker still sees the white shoes with wings now molded to the person he has just fitted for new shoes.
Each person excitedly thanks the shoemaker for their new shoes and leaves.
He went through this same process with several people.
End of dream.
Then the LORD gave me these scriptures:
“And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the ‘firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace [Isiah 52:7]”Ephesians 6:15 AMP.
“But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to GOD] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Heb 12:1-3]” Isaiah 40:31 AMP.
I believe I was watching The LORD shod our feet for the days ahead, to make sure we had what we needed for our journey
with Him. The white shoes indicate that we had been cleansed by Him.
Thus He saw the gift He gave each person and knew the price He paid for them. He also saw how they changed for each person becoming
what they needed for their journey. So where they needed to fly, they had wings to fly.
Where they needed to stand strong, they would stand strong. These were like the shoes of the Israelites in the desert,
these wouldn’t wear out, as the person continued to follow the LORD.
The person only ‘saw’ that they were the exact shoes that they wanted.
God Bless You!
