The reason we are as limited as we are is God never meant for us to understand Him. We were meant to respond to Him.
The Key To Keeping The Peace
By Kathy Mote
The key to keeping the peace the Lord gave you is to keep your eyes on Him. The key to abiding in the peace He gives is to know that
peace is Him. He is the peace you are in, and He guards your heart as you trust in Him. Where the hearts of those who trust Him are concerned, nothing gets past Him. He is Lord of them.
There Is A Knowledge of Him
There is a knowledge of Him that you gain only in His presence. The knowledge of Him is something only He can reveal. From what I understand, He doesn't do this
often. He isn't what we think or assume, and He isn't the sum of what we have read of Him.
His ways are higher than our ways. His love for us is what our thoughts of Him are made of. He teaches our heart
to know Him by His love. But He is mighty and powerful. All things answer to Him. Make no mistake, He is Lord of all things created, and He is Lord over your heart as He brings you to Him. Yet, your heart is something He is gentle with.
His power isn't something He stresses as He gently awakens your heart, bringing you to Him. There is a side of Him that you see as you are matured by His hand. He has excellent parenting skills. For many, being matured is the time to accept His
will, and stop telling Him theirs.
He has woven His will throughout your entire life, bringing about His plan for you from the beginning. His desire for you is far greater than what you can think or desire.
Having spent your life here, you know nothing of Heaven. But then, here is not where you will spend eternity. You will spend eternity in Him. Do not fear the changes He brings to your heart as He readies you to come home to Him.
The Lord Your God Is With You
By Kathy Mote
Zephaniah 3:17, “The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with
His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” ... He loves and takes delight in us, and that settles our hearts. That is the victory He sings of, that our hearts are knit together with His own. That's how He brings us to Him, raising our confidence
in Him. That's how He defeats every enemy who would take us away from Him. His love is what keeps us with Him.
In The Moments
By Kathy Mote
In the moments before deeper knowledge of Him is revealed, the Lord will settle your heart. You realize that hearing Him depends completely
on Him saying what He wants to say, revealing what He wants you to understand. He never lets our thinking get stale. He is always moving us forward. He never lets us grow weary or slide away from His heart. In my time of waiting, my heart cried out. His answer
was, Let your heart break for Me as I draw you near.
Here Is Another Side
Here is another side to forgiveness you may want to consider. To walk in God's heart, you may not simply be expected to accept injustice, you may be expected to
forgive someone else's weakness. Understandably, we get hung up on the criteria for forgiveness. Forgiving isn't calling the unjust just. It isn't relating to how someone mistreats us. It is standing strong in God's will for us. The only behavior that reflects
our heart is our own. Not someone else’s.
The Lord Is Addressing Our Need
The Lord is addressing our need for emotional healing, and He isn't giving it to us on our own terms. This is not to say He is forcing it on us, or that we have
to do something to receive it.
He is healing deep wounds that have marred us our whole life. There are some of the Beloved who have not been shown human love. He is teaching us His heart instead. He is
not asking us to forgive. We have already done that. He is justifying our feelings, and He is giving us His apology, filled with the comfort of His understanding.
Yet, because we haven't been loved, we
don't know how to receive it. The love He intends to reveal to our heart is not based on our performance. We don't have to live up to our own idea of what is loveable to relate to it.
Put simply, love is a gift, not an exchange of favors.
It is not based on what people need from us. Love is unconditional, but it has been witheld in this life from us. He will shortly remedy the condition our heart is in.
In a vision I see a simple tin cup,
so misused that it has dents in it. This tin cup represents the shape our heart is in. He intends to press out the dents by filling us. We will know His love in a way that completely heals us. Not contingent upon anyone's heart but His own, love is a gift
He is giving us.
