"I Heard These Words: Heaven's Mouth Is Opening"

By Pete Garza

Many Believers have found themselves feeling weak and defeated; let me assure you that we are far from weak or defeated. In fact, God, in this hour, is restoring what the enemy thought he had destroyed.

This past Sunday I was taken into up a encounter where I saw the Bride of Christ weary and burdened. They were walking in defeat and carrying condemnation and shame. They no longer saw themselves as sons or daughters, instead they agreed with the whispers of the enemy. As this encounter continued, I watched as the Bride began to relinquish their crowns to the adversary. The Lord then reminded me of Genesis 3, where we see Adam and Eve hiding from God because of their shame and nakedness:

"When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the LORD God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the LORD God among the trees."

Heaven's Mouth Opens Wide

I was then taken into a heavenly encounter where I saw the gates of Heaven open wide. In this encounter, I knew that it was the gates of Heaven, but in my spirit I heard, "Heaven's Mouth is opening." As this encounter continued, I watched a mighty, rushing river come from the gates of Heaven. This river was breath taking. It was crystal clear but at times had tones of icy blue. The river glistened with brilliance and gold. It was as if the river and the sun became one and they both radiated this brilliance, outwardly, at the same time. It was glorious!

"And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." (Revelation 22:1-2)

I then watched as the river's reflection turned into a river of crowns. As I looked closer, as far as I could see, there were beautiful gold crowns with heavenly stones. There was such a sense of authority, peace, and immense love as these crowns flowed out of Heaven.

The Lord then said, "I am restoring My Bride, I am restoring the crowns that were relinquished and I will receive My glory."

"[T]he twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

"'You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.'" (Revelation 4:10-11)

"Then He who sat on the throne said, 'Behold, I make all things new.'

"And He said to me, 'Write, for these words are true and faithful.' And He said to me, 'It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.'" (Revelation 21:5-7 NKJV)

While in prayer this morning, I couldn't stop thinking about why (in my spirit) I had heard, "Heaven's Mouth" while seeing the gates of Heaven. You see, Heaven speaks! Heaven declares! The mouth of Heaven is the echo of the Father's heart. Out of His heart flows a river of life that brings healing, restoration and resurrection.

Lift Up Your Heads!

Beloved, no matter what you're going through right now, be encouraged. Pick up your crown and dust yourself off because Heaven is declaring victory over you today. Heaven's mouth is saying, "Lift up your heads, O you gates!"

"Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah." (Psalms 24:7-10 NKJV)
