If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

God is Present . . .

God Is Present

By Kathy Mote

God is present in the 'first person' but so many of us speak of Him as if He were somewhere else. Not realizing His nearness or that He fills us, we speak of Him in third person tense. We say 'God said this,' or 'the Lord told me that,' but that is not acknowledging His presence or answering Him.

When you are aware of Him it is because of your desire for Him, or should I say it is because of His desire for you. Every thought and deed is in His presence because He is present. Every answer we give is in response to Him. Every time we speak to others, it should be from our place in His arms. Realizing His faithfulness to us, our hearts are always faithful to Him.

Before you feel daunted, remember Him instead. It was always His invitation that you love and accept Him. That is what He always said. That He would knock and you would open. This is more of the same. Turn your heart to Him and listen. He will refine your heart as He speaks to you there. This is not religion, it is a life that flows in communion with Him. He said this is only the beginning of what He will do to fill us and bring us into Him.

In a vision I saw the hearts of those who are called to stand before God's throne. He looked at the precious ones with such love in His eyes. He is delighted with those He calls His own as He fills them with the desires of His heart. As they are filled, they will glow with warm, beautiful, living light.

That is His Life in us, and we rise to Him as He fills our heart. His presence is what draws us to Him and that is why we are so aware of Him. His love for us is what we feel in our heart. We will remain in His arms forever because His love has made us a part of His heart.

There Is No Life

By Kathy Mote

There is no Life outside of God's presence, so that's what He fills us with.

God Could Have Looked At Us

By Kathy Mote

God could have looked at us and said, Sorry, kid. You will never survive in My presence. But He didn't. Instead He said, 'Here, let Me fill you with My presence'.

When Jesus Took Your Place

By Kathy Mote

When Jesus took your place on the cross, He was receiving God's will for you. What He was giving up, He was giving to you. He gave up His life and His place in God's presence to bring about the order of Father's will and that was to bring you in. It is God's will for you to live in His presence and not end up rising against Him like Lucifer did. Filling you with all the fullness of Him is how He gives you this.

As we accept Christ we have the right heart to honor our Father's heart. We receive Life in His presence with a humble heart instead of grabbing at an inheritance. He meant for that inheritance to be a loving embrace.

Christ not only died in your place, He brings you to your Father filled with the absolute obedience of His heart. The same way Christ honored the Father, we honor Christ who is living in us. By showing us the desires of God's heart, that is actually what He is filling us with.

What Jesus Did On Calvary

By Kathy Mote

What Jesus did on Calvary was obey the Father's will for you. What He is doing in you now, He does by His presence in you as He heals you.

When Jesus said, It is finished, He meant what He was sent to do. Now, as Lord of you, He brings you to the Father, and He is not nearly finished with you.

You are not the sum of what you say and do. That is your response to Him as He leads you. You are as He is making you as He fills you with all that the Father has for you.

The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said, “When you react to the people around you, who knows what you will say and do. When you follow Me, you respond to Me. What I say and do is what you say and do.”

Forgiving Others

By Kathy Mote

Forgiving others isn't the key to our healing, our surrender to the Lord's heart is. Him healing our heart is the key to forgiveness. What flows into us flows through us. We are able to forgive as the Lord heals us. Our healing isn't contingent upon what we do, but on what He does in us.
