Satan Cannot Kill the Gospel
By Geraldine Fisher
Satan cannot kill
The Gospel of Christ, even if he decides to kill the messengers, The Gospel will still continue on!
As I was meditating upon The LORD tonight, The LORD begin to speak to my heart that The Gospel will be
preached no matter if those who are messengers, have wrong motives or not!
Apostles Paul had been placed in prison by those who hated him and wanted him out the way; even though their motives and agendas
for preaching The Gospel was not to defend The Gospel, but was driven by self-ambition.
Apostle Paul had reached a place of maturity in his life where he knew that those who shared The Gospel were fake
and counterfeit, and instead of disputing them and trying to expose them, God gave him wisdom and insight to understand that many who was preaching The Gospel for wrong motives and had wicked agendas, were still advertising the message of Christ, even though
they stood to have no kind of heavenly reward in the end.
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done
many wonderful works? And then I will declare to them, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Matthew 7:22-23.
Apostle Paul said that many of these religious
leaders will be so glad trouble had befallen him and that he was locked in prison, that they would in fact rejoice he was out of the way, because they thought getting him locked up they’ll be able to step right into the spotlight gaining a platform to
preach themselves.
He even went on to say that others who were religious and called to preach (religious leaders) wanted him to fail, because now that he was out of the picture, they could prey on the
sheep to be the greedy shepherds they truly were.
He went on to say that instead of these religious leaders seeing him as a man of God of righteousness, preaching the Good News of Christ in boldness, power
and demonstration and called by God, they saw him in the carnality as competition, somebody they had to compare themselves with and that provoked self-ambition, jealousy and envy in the body of Christ.
Paul
got a revelation from God on how he had to respond to their immaturity by saying,
“I’ve decided that I really don’t care about their motives, whether mixed, bad, or indifferent. Every
time one of them opens his mouth, Christ is proclaimed, so I just cheer them on! And I’m going to keep that celebration going, because I know how it’s going to turn out.”
He said,
“Through your faithful prayers and the generous response of The Spirit of Jesus Christ, everything He wants to do in and through me — will be done!
I
can hardly wait to continue on my course. I don’t expect to be embarrassed in the least. On the contrary, everything happening to me in this jail only serves to make Christ more accurately known, regardless of whether I live or die.
They didn’t shut me up; they gave me a pulpit! Alive, I’m Christ’s messenger; dead, I’m His bounty. Life versus even more life! I can’t lose.”
In this season,
I believe that as we begin to experience a great shift in The Body of Christ. We shall begin to see more and more false religious leaders pretending to know God and as a result, God is going to bless true anointed leaders to walk with them, not because they
have compromised The Gospel, but because He shall use them as hirelings; instead-of true shepherds to market not only The Gospel but to market the five-fold ministry office in this season just as he did Apostle Paul.
Many of these religious leaders knew there was something different about Paul and instead of seeking his source which was Jesus Christ: THE ANOINTED ONE.
They only wanted the platform, the pulpit,
the fame, glamour and the money but Paul said instead of exposing them he used the wisdom and the insight God gave him by rejoicing that The Gospel was continuing to be spread throughout the nation.
““Some
men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.” Likewise, the good works of some are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden.” 1 Timothy 5:23-24.
So, Paul said that through the faithful prayers of the Saints and the generous response of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, everything he wants to do in and through me will be done.
Paul saw through
the eyes of Christ something new and fresh that even though evil leaders wanted to destroy him he United with them to preach The Gospel not to compromise his mission or to compromise his beliefs in Christ but to continue to spread the good news to others!
So, he said that I can hardly wait to continue on my course. I don’t expect to be embarrassed in the least. On the contrary, everything happening to me in this jail only serves to make Christ more accurately
known, regardless of whether I live or die.
He said in the midst of his trials and his tests, they didn’t shut me up; they gave me a pulpit! ‘Alive, I’m Christ’s messenger; dead,
I’m his bounty. Life versus even more life! I can’t lose!’ (Philippians 1:18-21)
