The Shaking and The Stirring

By Deborah Waldron Fry

I heard the word “Stirring,” and the phrase, “I AM stirring things up.“

And I thought of the Angel who stirred the waters and the people were healed. God is speaking. And I see the Finger of God STIRRING the Atmosphere.

Like a finger stirring water, like a tempest stirring up the waves of the sea. Things that need moved are being moved, blockages are being broken up, the defenses of the enemy are falling down and people’s hearts are being awakened to Him that were once closed.

When He speaks, the Realms of Heaven and earth are stirred. All creation responds to the Voice of God.

When the Holy Spirit moves, all of creation is roused. Get ready, Child of God. Listen…. God is speaking into your life and there will be a stirring, an awakening that will move and shake and dislodge every plan of the enemy!

“Beloved. As a Mighty Rushing Wind stirs up the seas, so My Spirit is moving, My Child. For I AM Yahweh your God, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar: Yahweh of Armies is His name.

It is written: “The LORD shall go forth like a Mighty Man; He shall STIR UP His zeal like a Man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies.”

I AM moving against your enemies in this hour. I AM STIRRING and awakening My People. I AM shaking all that can be shaken. But do not fear, you abide under the Shadow of My Wings.

My Spirit is within you, stirring you and awakening you to the NEW LIFE within you. I AM showing you things to come. This stirring shall release all your GIFTS and you shall move in the Spirit Realm as never before.

As an eagle stirs up her nest, so I AM stirring you, Beloved. This STIRRING shall take the enemy down, but LIFT YOU UP on eagle’s wings.

Let this EXCITE your spirit man, Dear One. I AM moving on your behalf. Think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is come to try you, but KNOW that I AM He who rides the heavens to your help, in His Excellency on the clouds.

I AM your dwelling place, and underneath are the Everlasting Arms. My Breath drives out the enemy before you, giving the command, ‘Destroy him!’

Once more I will shake not only the earth, but heaven as well. Awaken Oh My Sleeper, the STIRRING of the SPIRIT has come, and MY GLORY is shaking the earth.

Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I AM doing a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?

I shall make a WAY in the Wilderness and MIRACLES shall BREAK FORTH like Streams in the desert!”

STIRRING : Bible definition: Move, excite, stir, awake, move to and fro, arouse, move, quake, shake. (Biblehub)

Bible Verses:

“Like an eagle that STIRS UP its nest, that flutters over its young, spreading out its wings, catching them, bearing them on its pinions, The LORD alone guided him, no foreign god was with him.” Deuteronomy 32:11-12.

“When Jesus had come into Jerusalem, all the city was STIRRED UP, saying, “Who is this?” Matthew 21:10.

“For I am Yahweh your God, who STIRS UP the sea, so that its waves roar: Yahweh of Armies is His name.” Isaiah 51:15.

“They saw The LORD’s works, His wonderful works in the deep. He spoke and raised a tempest that STIRRED UP the waves of the sea.” Psalm 107:24-25.

“Who has STIRRED UP one from the east, calling him in righteousness to his service? He hands nations over to him and subdues kings before him. He turns them to dust with his sword, to windblown chaff with his bow.” Isaiah 41:2.

“But they insisted, saying, “He STIRS UP the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.” Luke 23:5.

“There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.” Deuteronomy 33:26-27.

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19.

“Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and STIRRED UP up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the STIRRING of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”8Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.” John 5:2-9.

“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” 1 Peter 4:12.

“At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth, but heaven as well.” The words “Once more” signify the removal of what can be shaken — that is, created things — so that the unshakable may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” Hebrews 12:26-28.

“So it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”” Ephesians 5:14.
