The Lord Reminded Me
By Kathy Mote
The Lord reminded me of a vision I was shown years ago. He showed me a little
earthen cup that was perfectly shaped, but it hadn't been through the fire. It wasn't strong enough to hold it's shape, or to be filled, or hold anything.
As I looked at this adorable little cup, I noticed
it wasn't very pretty. It hadn't been adorned and it didn't shine. When the Lord poured warm living oil into the cup, it disintegrated into a little gooey puddle before my eyes.
The Lord said, Don't despise
the trials of your faith. Don't despair in the moments that you learn to stand. They put you through the fire to make you strong enough to be poured into. He meant by His Spirit, to stand in His presence. In the fire we become fired up.
As we mature in the Lord, our trials take on a different tone. What tries our peace of mind is hearing or not hearing His voice as He corrects our heart. We overcome as we learn to trust and we learn to trust as we are brought closer to Him. This
is a deep relationship where we live by His commitment to us.
A trial to me today is when He shows me a weakness and I surrender to Him as it is revealed. Not hearing His voice in just one moment has me undone. It is in those moments
I am shown His faithfulness, and that is what enables me to go on.
I keep remembering that He said knowing He is still creating us would answer most of our questions about this life. Without Him in us
we would fall and never get up. The comfort and freedom that gives to my heart knocks carnal thinking right out of my mind. Knowing this lifts me out of my next trial and right into His arms.

In a vision I saw a woman walking slowly down a cobbled street. There were not
many people around her. She walked in a quiet place. Every few feet she would consult her Bible before taking a step. Within a short time, she was simply reading as she walked so that it would direct her path.
path led her to Jesus, who stood in the road ahead, and as she came to Him, she nearly bumped into Him. He smiled at her and raised His hand to take her hand, and as He walked with her, He said, I will direct your path. Every promise of Life and love you hoped
to find is in My hand, and I will bring to pass.
The Lord reminded me of this vision, given to me not so long ago. He said it was for such a time as this, when man's thinking would be changed and they
would learn to trust. They will stop seeing His Word as a religion when they see Him face to face. Their time has come to open their hearts and let Him in.
He showed me people selling cheap goods in what looked like an ancient bazaar.
Old thinking, I guess. It was a marketplace where men sold what they made with their hands to passersby who thought they had need of it. The Lord said the (old thinking) marketplace is in a shambles today. There is
a tempest blowing in it. God is pouring out a revelation of Him that will correct man's thoughts and bring their hearts to Him.

Our response to our Father has been to become ministry oriented. But that is not our first calling. It will
change our thinking to realize in our heart that God calls us to Him to raise us as His family. To enter His arms should be our response to Him. The point of His Word is to call us to Him.
In A System
By Kathy Mote
In a system where people have been intent on playing god, they will begin to bite and devour one another, clawing their way over the top of each other in their attempt to get to the top of the heap. In a vision I see
a mountain of people who desire to govern the world, and they all look the same. Those who are on the bottom are being crushed by the weight of those clawing their way to the top.
The very nature of that
mountain will cause it to destroy itself.
Meanwhile, the hearts of those who wait on the Lord are being refined as pure living oil that is as valuable as gold. They will flow in prosperity that runs like a river of gold through the
streets they are on. Those who wait to see the Lord have His way, this is it. He just isn't done.
Recently I find myself being moved by the Lord at the speed of light. I need to walk in more courage than I naturally possess. I am reminded of Noah, who obeyed
for over 100 years as He waited on the Lord to fulfill His Word.
He lived among heckling and violent non-believers who were aggressively unkind to him because of his faith and obedience. They mocked God,
so they mocked him as he prepared for the flood to come. Yet he was righteous in all of his ways. This tells me he didn't falter in his heart. He waited for rain in a place that had never seen rain because he heard God's voice and believed what He said.
So there he was, building a boat on dry land that was a tremendously large undertaking for one man even with the help of his sons. I have often wondered just how bad he was heckled for it. Talk about not fitting in.
It took courage for Noah to obey, something I am being given by the Lord's presence in my own heart.
What He builds in those of us who are called to Him in this time can only come from His presence in
us. It is HIS strength abiding in us so we can abide in Him. It starts with surrender that blossoms into trust, so what He is doing depends on His faithfulness to fulfill His Word.
When I hear Him say
He will fulfill His Word, I hear that it means our Father will satisfy Christ's desire and intention to bring about the Father's will in us. When He comes again, it will not take those He has called to Him by surprise. We are being made ready for Him.
